I had a pizelle maker that was not doing a good job and only made 2 small ones at a time. I purchased this and whipped up a new batch. WOW! What a difference! The cookies were evenly browned and cooked quick and did not burn the cookie. Also bigger cookies. There is a cookie cutter if you want the smaller ones. I used oil to pretreat first, then did not need anything else as they did not stick throughout the cookie making process. Yes, I recommend!

Liked the unit heated quickly- the nonstick surface made it easy to remove Pizzelles and cleanup fast. I also liked the cutting tool making the cookies uniform in size

The pizzelle iron was so easy to use right out of the box. It included the recipe I used to make a great stack of goodies. I got compliments!

My SUGARWHISK Pizzelle Maker arrived today and I made my first batch of pizzelles. There's a lot to love about this device. It's lightweight. The plates are non-stick; I didn't use any oil or cooking spray on the plates, yet my cookies did not stick. I like that the two sides lock together as the cookies are baking. The indicator light clearly let me know when the maker was up to temperature. I also like that the unit stores upright and takes up very little cabinet space.I do have one critique: The heating elements do not provide even heat. There are spots on the plates where the cookies brown faster than other areas. Also, I'd like to let bakers know that the little instruction book says to cook the pizzelles for 2-3 minutes. That's way too much. My first two cookies were very brown. I cooked my pizzelles about 1 min and 10 seconds. I got nice blonde, fully cooked pizzelles.

I have had bad luck finding a mini waffle maker that did not make them stick. The plates are so non stick I did not even need oil. I LOVE that you can remove them to clean them also.

I am very disappointed in this product. I used it twice and the first batch of Pizzelle cookies were cooked unevenly. I did thing maybe because it is new, and the second batch came the same way. Half the Pizzelle was cooked dark, and the other half came to light.. I am not happy; I have to return it...

Seems to work ok so far, after making several batches of pizzelles with it. It takes some practice to get the cooking time exactly right. (It took less time than the directions and recipe said.) And this iron doesn't close tight enough to get the cookies as thin as the ones my husband's mother and grandmother made, so it actually makes fewer cookies in a batch. This pizzelle maker is easy to operate, cleans up easily, and is ok for the price.

I see a lot of low carb recipes that use a waffle maker on line and I thought that I would give up a try. It works flawlessly.Start with a cold cooking plate. Spray or brush plates with oil. Add shredded cheese directly on the plate and any other item like topping a pizza then add more shredded cheese. Close and turn on till the light goes off. Wala a delicious low carb crunchy treat.I can't wait to try out the other cooking plates.
