I received this in the dead of winter up here and my pool is fully snow-covered and frozen so I haven't been able to try out the operation of the cleaner but I can review what I really like about the product so far.First of all, my previous pool cleaner is corded and with the fence around our pool it's a chore to plug the base unit it and run the cord all the way to the pool. This cleaner removes that burden and will make cleaning the pool more of a snap.Even though it's battery-powered it's not overly heavy so lifting it to and from the shed (where it will charge) will be easy enough that the kids can help with it. It also has a good-sized basket for gathering debris which will definitely be enough for our in-ground pool. The build-quality of the cleaner seems really good! It's definitely not inexpensive (which would be my only knock on it so far) and you can tell that it was made with quality in-mind.The instructions talk about waterline parking where, when finished, the cleaner comes to the top of the pool so that you can pull it out. Unless you leave it for a long time and it goes into energy-conservation mode, you won't need a pool pole to hook it and yank it out like other cleaners I've had a look at.The charging unit is easy to use - once you find a place to set it up you simply place the cleaner on the dock and it starts charging immediately. The product description claims to have more than enough time for at least one cleaning of the pool depending on if the walls, floor or both are being worked. The accompanying app is easy to set up and configure and gives you options on how to set up the cleaning pattern. It doesn't allow you (from what I can tell) to manually control the movement of the device which would have been nice to have in case it misses a spot during the process.Overall I'm really excited to use this in the Spring to make pool maintenance even easier! Once I've given it a full run-through I'll update this review with the results.

I ordered this Beatbot AquaSense Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner to replace an old corded pool vac and I'm so glad that I decided to go with a battery powered pool vacuum instead or another corded vac. Not only does this cordless vac work much better than our old corded vac, we don't have to fish it out of the bottom of the pool after it's done because it has Smart Return with waterline parking so we can just lift it out from the edge of the pool.It has a powerful 200W brushless main-pump motor and two pairs of independently operated of scrubber brushes that provide twice the cleaning power compared to our old pool vac. This pool vac is equipped with 15 sensors that help it quickly map any pool shape and detect walls and steps. It will also avoid obstacles and adjust it's cleaning path if it does come across something in the pool.It has a large 6700mAh battery that can provide up to 3 hours of run time in floor only mode and about 2 hours in floor and wall cleaning mode. The cordless charging dock is pretty compact and makes recharging the battery quick and easy. You just place the AquaSense on the dock and it will start charging within a second or two. There are no plugs or ports to line up or plug in, you just drop it on the charger and let it recharge. You'll need about 2.5-3 hours to fully recharge the battery. The App is easy to use and set up and allows you to select one of three cleaning modes, Quick Mode (floor x 1), Standard Mode (floor, wall and waterline x 1) and Custom Mode (floor x 2 and wall x2). You can't control the vac while it's in the pool, but once it's done cleaning and you lift it out of the pool it will update the app to show how long the cleaning session was and provide you with a map of the cleaning pattern. We're very happy with how well the Beatbot AquaSense works but it is quite expensive, so I'm giving this a highly recommended and 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This Beatbot AquaSense cordless robotic pool vacuum cleaner is very easy to set up and use. The provided instructions do an excellent job of describing the features, how to connect to the app, and how to operate the vacuum. There is a very minimal amount of assembly required to set up the charging base, then you just charge the unit, install the app (although not required to use), connect the app to the vacuum and you are ready to go.The vacuum is extremely easy to operate. You simply turn it on by pressing the power button, then press a button for the desired cleaning mode. There is a button for "quick" mode which cleans just the floor. There is a button for "standard" mode which cleans the floor and walls and waterline. After powering on and selecting the mode, place the vacuum on level ground, wait 5 seconds for the unit to calibrate, then place the vacuum in the pool and it starts cleaning. When the cleaning is done, the vacuum positions itself at the top of a wall for easy removal. If you are not there to retrieve it, after some time, the vacuum will descend to the floor to conserve power and you can use the provided hook on a pole to remove the vacuum.I have found that this robotic vacuum does a much better job of cleaning my pool than others I have tried. My pool has a sloped floor from the shallow end to the deep end, but it also has sloped sections that transition from the walls to the floor. Other robotic cleaners get thrown off by these angled sections and it takes them a long time and multiple passes to cover the entire floor. This robotic pool vacuum doesn't get thrown off by these sections. After testing for about 2 weeks, I have also found that it seems to learn the layout of my pool the more it is used so it gets better over time.Besides the ease of operation, optimal cleaning path learning, and positioning at the top of a wall when done cleaning for easy removal, there are other features that make this an excellent choice for your pool. First, this pool vacuum seems to have a much more suction power than other robotic vacuums I have tried. It easily picks up some debris and waterlogged leaves that others can't. Second, this pool vacuum also has large roller brushes at the front and back of the vacuum. These brushes help to agitate and pick up smaller dirt particles as well as clean up any smaller algae spots that it encounters. I have found with manually vacuuming or using other robot cleaners, I would have to brush over some algae spots in order to remove them as the vacuum alone did not. But this vacuum uses it's own brushes to perform that task automatically. Note that I am not saying this pool vacuum will brush a pool with heavy algae, but it will make it easier to get rid of some smaller algae spots. Third, this robotic pool vacuum comes with a cordless charging dock. This makes it so easy to charge. No more fumbling with plugging a cord into an outlet on the vacuum and then into an outlet. With this system, just leave the charger plugged in and set the vacuum onto the charger. It's so easy. Fourth, the filter basket on this pool vacuum is larger than others I have tested so it can hold more debris in one cleaning session without having to be pulled out to empty it. The basket is very easy to remove to empty and hose out for cleaning. Finally, this robotic pool vacuum is one of the lightest I have tested. It is very easy to lift in and out of the pool (especially with the wall positioning when it's done) and place onto the charging base. The app is easy to use, but is pretty basic. The app allows you to set to one of the two cleaning modes that you can access via the buttons on the vacuum and then start vacuuming. The app also gives you a log of the cleaning sessions so you can see the map of the cleaning pattern as well as how long it was operating. The app does not let you control the vacuum in the pool and you can't schedule pool cleanings (more on that below). I found the app easy to install by using the QR code in the instruction manual and easy to connect to the vacuum by scanning the QR on the vacuum. Note that you will have to register using your email address in order to use the app. If you really don't want to register to use the app, you can still get the same functionality from the vacuum by just using the buttons on the vacuum. You just won't be able to see the cleaning history. I like having this option to use the vacuum without having to register a new app on my phone. I have registered to use the app in the hopes that additional functionality may be added to the app over time, such as scheduling cleanings or setting different cleaning modes. There are some things I want to point out that this robotic vacuum does not do. First, I cannot schedule pool cleanings in the app for this vacuum. For example, when I am away on vacation, it would be nice to be able to leave the vacuum in the pool and schedule it to do 2 or 3 floor cleanings while I am away. This vacuum can easily clean just the floor of my pool in an hour so the long battery life would allow for it to do 2 or 3 cleanings before having to be taken out and recharged, but there is no way in the app to schedule these cleanings. Second, the instructions indicate that the pool pump should be turned off when this vacuum is used. I assume that is so the vacuum sensors are not thrown off by the water moving in the pool. What this means for me is that even if I could schedule pool cleanings while I was away (or even get a neighbor to put the vacuum in the pool for me), the pool would have to be off in order for the vacuum to work properly. My pool pump does not have a timer on it, so when I am away for vacation, I just leave it running and this pool vacuum does not like that. In my case, I do have an older robotic vacuum that does allow for scheduled cleanings, so I can use that. However, it does not do as good a job of cleaning the pool as this one does.Overall, I am very impressed with this robotic pool vacuum. It is extremely easy to operate and does a great job of cleaning my pool. While I have listed some things I wish this pool vacuum could do, I still believe this is the best robotic pool vacuum I have ever tried. It is a great option for cleaning your pool when you are able to place it in the pool and remove it between cleanings. Also, the "15 certifications, including ETL, CEC, and IP68, ensuring safety and environmental compliance" help to assure you are getting a well thought out, quality item.

I recently got the BeatBot AquaSense Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner, and I have to say, this thing is the Lamborghini of pool cleaners. It’s absolutely awesome. The grippy tracks on each side allow it to move smoothly over cracks, seams, and small obstacles, something I’ve struggled with on other pool vacuums in the past.Setup and operation are super simple. This cleaner has a 4-core 1.8 GHz CPU, which is insane for a pool vacuum, and it really shows in how powerful and efficient it is. The suction is great, and I love the top-loading filter. Just pop open the lid, remove the filter, and clean it out in seconds. It’s built to last, with thicker rubber brushes that feel really durable. One of the most impressive features is its AI-driven cleaning system. With 15 sensors and an advanced algorithm, it learns and maps your pool to optimize cleaning patterns. It even climbs walls and gradients, tackling the entire pool efficiently, including the edges. The build quality is solid. It’s a heavier, well-built unit, but the handle makes it easy to lift out of the pool. Charging is a breeze too; just place it in the dock, no cables to mess with. Battery life is fantastic, running for up to three hours, though my 16-foot round pool gets cleaned much faster than that.Overall, I’m super impressed with the BeatBot AquaSense. It’s powerful, smart, and easy to use. It’s by far the best pool cleaner I’ve owned. Highly recommend it!

I got this to replace an Aiper that had died two months after its warranty expired. This time, I used a credit card that doubles the manufacturer's warranty. So - 4 years of warranty. The unit is physically larger and heavier than the Aiper. I'm glad I didn't go for the "Pro" version which is clearly even larger and heavier. It seems to be well made, and although it's heavier, it's just as easy to carry as the Aiper, because the ergonomics are better. Nice big grab handle. It has Wifi connectivity when it's out of the pool. But it does not accept Wifi passphrases with embedded spaces. I asked Beatbot's tech support about it, and their suggestion was to change my wifi passphrase. Umm, not happening. I have WAY too many gadgets with that passphrase. Note that I say "passphrase" and not "password". Wifi has supported passphrases since its very inception.Luckily, the cleaner works without wifi.Another issue - that I didn't know before receiving it; The manual says to turn off your pool filters while the cleaner is cleaning. I'm betting that's because the noise in the water confuses their ultrasonic sensor.I don't think that was mentioned in the Quick Start pamphlet. Anyway, the cleaner does work with the pumps running, but I think it's a little confused. My pool is a simple rectangular shape, and for some reason instead of going back & forth with the shape, the cleaner cuts steep diagonals across it, climbing the walls a bit at a severe tilt. The pool hadn't been properly cleaned since the old cleaner gave up, and although we have a power cover on it, a quantity of leaves had wound up on the bottom. The instructions say to clean the pool by hand before using the cleaner for the first clean of the season. Heck with that! I bought this $1K cleaner to *clean*, not to watch me clean :).So I plopped the cleaner in. It did it's thing and then parked at the edge of the pool. I fished it out, and the hopper was completely full. Recharged it and did it again the next day. It's been 3 days of once-a-day cleaning, and now the pool is almost pristine.WRT charging: The unit comes with a charging dock with two big spring loaded terminals that contact connection spots on the side of the cleaner. This seems like a very effective system, and superior to the little rubber-tipped plug that the Aiper had. Much easier to keep clean. The cleaner started parking itself at the far side of the pool, that has a retaining wall. Sure would be nice if I could tell it to park over HERE instead. But not deadly - my pool pole reaches the other side, and the supplied hook is very good - very substantial. The last few cleans, the unit stopped parking itself on the wall. Rather, it just stops somewhere in the middle of the pool. Not deadly - it's easy to fish it out with the pole.In conclusion, this seems to be a good cleaning machine, with some high-tech warts. But no deal killers.

Replaced an excellent corded cleaner that lasted 5 years. We were not sure if the beatbot could handle our pool due to lots of leaves. So far it seems to be working great. Cell phone app is also working well.

I don't have any other cordless robot to compare but it last about 1.75h each charge.I have 2 corded robots. And this work just as good as the dolphin m600 without the cord. The m600 lasted 1 year. The other one is the Wybot which is a piece of junk and terrible post sale customer service.Initially, this robot seems to be very confuse when you put in the water. However, it seems to be learning your typography. As times goes on, it get better and better and seems to know some of the peculiarities of your pool.It does attempt to clean your steps but not really good at it. Hopefully the manufacturer improve the algorithm in the future.Over all a good price for a decent robot. Will see how long will it last.
