I bought this thing for my son because he is in the boy scouts and goes hiking all the time. We live in North Carolina where there are black bears all over. It's always good to have something like this to keep any threat of bears out. This thing is well made and comes with a lot of stuff. I am very happy with the purchase. I know that he loves it as well It's big enough to fit all of his things and it doesn't weigh very much. It actually has a very thick material It seems to be waterproof but I haven't tested that yet.

This bear bag worked great on a recent hike in Northern Minnesota. The bag controls the release of scent really well, and was easy to hang in the tree. It comes with long ropes so I could hang it high and still tie it off easily. I love that it's waterproof and none of my food was affected by weather. The collapsibility makes it easy to pack and flexible to accommodate any volume of food, up to a week.

This bear bag worked well for hanging my food in bear country. Many places require either a bear canister or bear bag when in bear territory in the backcountry. This bag was easy to get it hung up in the tree as a solo female traveler. It comes with everything you need for ease of getting it into a tree the first attempt. It was also a convenient carrying bag for my misc food items when bear boxes were made available. Waterproof. Strong material. A good purchase.

We purchased this for our first backpacking trip. The bag is durable and a decent size. We used the supplied rope and put a rock in the small bag to toss the rope over a branch a good 25’ in the air. Plenty of rope to hoist and secure the bag into the air. We didn’t have any issues with the materials breaking. Worked perfect for what we needed.

I was hiking in Colorado and bought this dry bag as a way to keep my food away from campsite but also keep it dry. It was big enough to fit my food for 3 days and still had some room left for more if I wanted. The bag came with a long enough rope to hang this properly and to keep it secured. I can tell it is made of great material and know I will be using this bag for more hikes to come!

Used on a recent backpacking trip and couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with this brand. Very easy to use and was surprised by the quality! I especially liked the bell to alert me if a bear or other animal was trying to get the bag. I was able to fit 6 mountain house meals inside along with multiple cliff bars and trail mix. I could probably fit more if needed. Overall very satisfied with my purchase!
