I bought to make keychains with leather/suede strips and broke EVERYONE of these hooks out of the handles. I tried to use it to pull one strand at a time but even that was a no go so my husband drilled a hole in a dowel rod and used epoxy to put the hook part in GREAT right nope WRONG the hook part broke off now I have nothing thats sturdy enough to make my keychains with VERY annoying!! wouldnt recommend unless you use these for JUST bead string the thin silky stuff NOT nothing like anything thick like supplies I need to use.

Broke very quickly. Didn’t have the stability to handle going through bead and cord. I would probably say a Bobbie pin is stronger.
