Budget needles work in a pinch however they are not sharp so they are challenging for certain types of beading techniques such as Brick stitch. The needle is very blunt and tends to snag or fray the thread but other than that for other types of beading other than Brick stitch, the needles probably will work okay but not particularly useful for what I need them for because the heads are not sharp.

I don’t know what I’m missing; there were so many great reviews. Apparently I bought the wrong set up all the different sets on here have all the same size needles.First of all I use 0.8mm cord only the single most common size. The straight needles, the ones with the head, the largest head is 0.7mm so obviously not going to work with 0.8mm cord. Then you have the thin needles that kind of open and spread apart, there’s no grip! Tell me, how do you pull when there’s no grip? I used pliers only to have them snap in half meanwhile cutting my cord, losing all my work.The only needles that actually did work for me were the grippy ones with collapsible head and you get a grand total of 2 of them. Such a waste of my time and money.

I really love the variety of needle sizes in this big eye beading needle kit. The case is sturdy and it is nice to have a string cutter and tape included. My favorite beads are natural pearls and they usually have a very small hole which can make stringing them difficult using a standard beading needle. These needles will work with all small sizes of bead holes and their flexibility makes it easy to sting groups of beads together as attached strands. I am glad I ordered this kit.

I found this needle set while making friendship bracelets. It makes bracelet making much faster and easier to use seed beads and not just pony beads. The large eye in the needles make them fast to thread and can hold multiple strands of elastic. Highly recommend.
