Extra-spring wire is kink-resistant and has a specially designed eye that automatically collapses and instantly reshapes when it is pulled through the bead. I'm new to beading and I use a lot of small gemstones beads with tiny holes. These are great for working with those with a variety of sizes of stretchy cord. They work for larger heavier beads too, but with more manual effort since the needles aren't that stiff. I'll be looking for a bulk order option in the future so I can get a larger quantity at a lower cost and with less packaging.

I do go through at least one each time I am beading designs my wool felt artwork. They do bend & if used rigorously, they'll bend to the point of being no good to keep using. But they are easy to thread (I'm 61 and threading the eyes of needles keeps getting trickier and trickier. Plus, they slide through the tiny seed beads beautifully. So for the price and the functionality of these, I don't mind going through a few every now and then.

These needles are great - the part you hold is twisted so it's easier to keep a grip on it. The eye collapses like a champ and then springs right back. I wish I'd found these a year ago!

Nice, I love them, they work great going through very small bead holes. You have to use thin cording as well.
