one of the mounting bolts came damaged, also the plugs for the intake ports don’t fit the holes in the intake horn, So currently this is still sitting in the box and $220 as a giant paperweight

This product combined with a cold air intake has been awesome. I have noticed mileage gain almost immediately. The installation was not too easy and I would recommend someone with some wrenching skills installing, but I would recommend this to others.

I recently purchased this intake manifold elbow as part of my last upgrades to my truck. I have to say that I wish I would have done this intake elbow first. I've noticed quite a large difference with my turbo spooling up a lot faster as well as my exhaust gas temperatures have gone done quite a bit. When I was driving around empty before my exhaust gas temps were in the 600 degree range. Now that I have installed this intake manifold they are around 500 to 550 degree range or so. My mileage increase about a half of a mile to a full mile per gallon with this intake installed. My water methanol kit installed very easily into the back of the intake manifold. I do wish that it had three ports because the kits that I have, Snow Performance's MPG MAX, needs a source for boost for the 2D controller that is in the cab. I did have to drill an extra hole and tap it to the 1/8" NPT but it wasn't too bad to do. I would recommend that everyone replace the factory Cummins intake manifold even if you don't have upgrades done to the truck the extra air flow and size should make a considerable notice on drivability.
