INSTALLATION STEPS
- Step 1: Disconnect all cables from the battery(ies). Disconnect the negative cable first.
- Step 2: Identify the negative (ground) cable on the battery you wish to install the Battery Disconnect Switch.
- Step 3: Due to the size of the switch, locate a place that is sturdy for mounting.
- Step 4: Refer to the wiring diagrams below for the two recommended wiring instructions. On late model GM, Chrysler, and other vehicles equipped with a body ground, use Diagram 2. Failure to route the body ground through the disconnect switch will result in severe damage and possibly fire when the starter is engaged.
- Step 5: Reconnect the battery and check for proper operation. Reconnect the positive cable first.
No installation guides are included, we highly recommend seeking professional installation.

For the price I feel it's a little large for my application. The ring that tells you on and off was backwards, and there is a pin that keeps the handle on that is a pain to get Into place. It seems to be a quality part so that's a plus.

Received some of these built with the wrong orientation. They lock in the On position VS locking in the Off position. This is a safety hazard and unacceptable. I ordered 41 for a production project and by the time we realized the issue, we were just outside the 30day return window. We had 18 out of 41 that were built incorrectly and are not usable. And also not returnable. When they do come in correctly, they work great.

Locking orientation is backwards. Looks robust...but it is of no use to me. Why lock it in the on position??? Poor quality control
