A bit smaller than similar inexpensive calculators, but perfectly fine for teens and adults. They seem well made. Strictly battery driven - the "solar panel" does not appear to be functional (it's not wired to anything).The battery can be replaced if needed. It's difficult to open the case - the split is hard to find. It's just above the bead going around the sides, but at least it doesn't come apart in a million pieces like some calculators I've opened!

I specifically chose these calculators to prevent my students from using their phone calculators or computer calculators during tests. I've found that some students were contacting friends for answers when using their devices. By providing these basic calculators, I can ensure a fair testing environment and reduce the temptation for dishonest behavior. Overall, I am satisfied with these calculators. They serve their intended purpose well and help maintain academic integrity during tests. If you need a reliable, cheap, basic calculator for classroom use, this set is a great choice.

Only half of the calculators work and the solar panels are broken/missing on multiple units.

Having a set of 8 basic calculators around the shop allows you to always have one at hand. Just your basic calculator, nothing fancy and perfect for simple everyday calculations. The silicone buttons are great for cleanup, especially when working with paints and epoxy.
