I ordered this large mechanical switch calculator for my daughter, but I may have to order another one for myself. The keys are about the same size as those on a computer keyboard. They make that signature clicking noise and you can actually feel the mechanical switch close as you use each key. This is so satisfying for a tactile person like me. The display is about an inch tall and 4.25" (twelve digits) wide. You can easily read this under normal conditions but I wouldn't have minded a backlight. This calculator has a solar panel augmented by a single AAA battery. Please note that this is a basic calculator as opposed to scientific or business. But that is all most people need for their day-to-day lives. Even if you already have a calculator app on your devices or computer, a mechanical desk calculator is both attractive and fun to use. Highly recommended!

I ordered this for my job.. previously had another one purchased on Amazon less than 2 months ago. The buttons were already sticking...it was a huge waste of money.This calculator is absolutely awesome and the buttons are raised perfectly and it works great! I love the colors too!!

I fell in love with this when I found out it uses mechanical switches and when I tested it out I was giddy with joy. The buttons really click like on a keyboard because they're real mechanical switches. Even better it doesn't even need the two (no included) AA batteries that can be used to power it, instead of batteries you can use the built in solar charger and internal battery. I've been using it for weeks and never put batteries in it.This is a fun, quirky, stylish desk toy that's actually useful.

This calculator is exactly what I wanted. I love the old typer retro sound and this sounds just like it. Now I don't have small children so I can't say how well the keys would hold up to little ones but I haven't had any issues with them. It turns on and turns off like it should with no issues. I highly recommend. The only down fall is that it was more expensive than the others but I am very happy with it either way.

Revised review. The first one had several keys that didn't work, but the company replaced it with no hassle. The new one works fine.The calculator has large buttons with audible clicks so you know you entered the number. No guessing if the key was pressed! The downside is if you're working near other people, the clicking might become annoying after a while.It's not just a pink calculator, its keys are in four shades of pink, which is a nice touch.The angled LCD display is easy to read.
