I am taking a microbiology class and needed a calculator that I would be okay getting E. Coli on. My other qualifier is that it had to be in my favorite color. I was surprised that this came packaged with a handwritten note thanking me for my purchase. That’s classic.It’s what you would expect from a simple, solar-powered calculator.Cute, compact, and inexpensive just in case anything unsavory drips onto it.I was a little confused that the commas were at the top of the numbers rather than at the bottom but that doesn’t bother me at all.Recommended for simple quick maths.

Seems like a decent pocket calculator. Purchased to keep one in my book bag and one in the car for when I go grocery shopping to prevent overspending on the ol' budget. I would purchase again.

A very cute colour. Easy to see on a desk or in a drawer. It’sca bit smaller than I’d lije but I could use the buttons snd read it in natural light from the window. The price is appropriate for its design and use

As a person who is going back to school and has reluctantly bought this calculator - there is some things I must inform you about. First of all, yes - this calculator is significantly lightweight and is definitely the stereotypical 'pocket-calculator'. It is ideal for going to school as it is small and can fit in about any pencil case. It works fines as well, and has a convenient 'backspace' button located on the top right of the calculator. In addition to that, it is aesthetically pleasing and you are getting exactly what you are being advertised for. However, something that I found intriguing (in a negative way) was how it doesn't have 'Turn off' button.. I thought that was a basic feature that any calculator would have had. This means you have to completely rely on the calculator switching off itself, and for me this took about 8 or so minutes. The problem here that we are facing now, is the fact it is wasting unnecessary energy and battery. Also maybe it is just me but it has chipped corners in the or it might as well be glue. Not sure of that but it definitely is not plain. Nevertheless, it is quite a sufficient calculator, just if you don't mind those 'errors' and also, just for you to know - this calculator also works indoor - it does not require full healthy sunlight. Anyways, overall rating - 8/10

What a find! A 12-digiit calculator that's pocket-sized! And with a backspace key, that makes error correction easy! The price was also terrific. I also liked the color (blue). The 12 digits span the whole width of the display, unlike in most calculators, where there's a blank space on the left side. There was one minor flaw, though, both the "AC" key and the "C" key were labelled "AC," unlike in the photo, although they function properly.

The buttons wiggle a little but for the price, it's functions perfectly fine. I got it just for test taking and it sits in a pocket of my backpack and has held up very well

The calculator is a convenient size and worked right away out of the box. Perfect for simple math functions.Note: anyone using this with students or curious populations, the device can come apart easily. I teach in an alternative school and one student dismantled the calculator within a few minutes and removed the metal cover. I've not had that problem with other plastic calculators.
