This pot is made out of very good material. Very sturdy and simple to use. Makes bone broth in less than 4 hours. Highly recommend!

Tried cooking brown beans. Product came with minimal instructions so was not sure if it was working properly but decided after two tries and still not cooked had to finish in my crock pot! Disappointed to say the least!

I like it that it is bid enough to actually do canning in. I used to have an old fashioned pressure cooker that I actually did roasts and soups in. I can still those things along with the canning ability. I have done one roast in it. It was tender and good. It’s just harder to know how to control the pressure than my old pressure cooker was.

You have to monitor what this appliance does (heat setting). I quickly realized that the "hissing " noise from the pressure relief is the surest way to gage the stove flame setting to keep the cook in the sweet spot for pressure. For me, it must be compared to the Instantpot. You can walk away from the Instant pot, and it has many programable features, but it is overall slower and breaks easily. The stovetop has THE OPERATOR ONLY. I have purchased & thrown away 2 of the Instantpot appliances (and gave up) I ruined one & one failed on it's own. No more of that! This stovetop will last. I also am going to try an electric heat plate just to see if it works at all. I think using the electric option will make it nesseccery to remove the pot from the plate so as to cool it down during transition from pre-heat to cook mode.
