The Extra Thick base heats quickly and retains heat well. Suitable for use on all domestic gas, electric, halogen, ceramic and induction cooktops.

Great little pressure cooker. It works perfectly fine with the induction stove. The only issue I found is. it takes forever to heat.

I live around 6,000 ft/1830 m above sea level, so boiling anything takes a long time.So I use pressure cookers. This is my second Hawkins. It a great piece of engineering.Like all great pieces of engineering, it simple, unlike insta-pots with all those easy to break and complex pieces.Cooking and canning is a snap. Highly recommended.
