product is decent. note that bottom is not completely flat. it struggles on my electric stove because the pot isn't in full contact with the heated coils, which would overheat and turn off. not a defect but i wish the pictures showed this. now it cooks super slowly for me.

Got this for my mom for Christmas. Be mindful of the size. We ordered the 7qt and it’s bigger than we expected. If you’re cooking for 4+ people, the 7qt will be fine. If you’re cooking for 2-3, stick with the smaller size. It’s simple…pretty much a bare bones, straightforward pressure cooker, which is not a bad thing. These are not real easy to find in stores anymore because everyone is making the multi-pot cookers now. If someone wants or asks for an old-fashioned or regular pressure cooker, this one is ideal.
