The bagel slicer is fast and clean to use. It is used with little force, just push the tapered blade onto the bagel. Due to the precise design, the bagel slicer will produce the smallest slice when shredding. Unlike the bread knife, which needs to move forward and backward, the bagel slicer will be sliced cleanly and has access slots for convenient bagel removal
Procedure:
1. Grasp the top of the handle with one hand and the base with the other hand, and remove the handle of the bagel slicer from the base
2. Place the bagel on the base. Then place the handle blade face down on the base. After placing the blade portion of the handle straight on the base, push down until the blade of the handle contacts the base
3. Hold the base with one hand and the handle with the other hand to take out the cut bagel
Recommendations
Never slice frozen or stale bagels as they blunt the blade. Slice the bagel before freezing it, or defrost the frozen bagel before slicing it
During slicing, hot, wet or "sticky" bagels may be squashed or flattened; Let the bagel cool before slicing

Doesn’t cut, it squishes the bagel. Hard to clean, kept it to long can’t return it.

Slicer works fine for bagels bought in grocery store. If bagels are bought from a bakery or bagel shop, the bagel will not fit in the holder without pushing it down. If you don't mind a bagel slightly scrunched, it works fine.

If your bagel is thick, this product will not work well. It squishes the bagel and then it becomes pieces trying to get out the bagel from the slicer.

While it does cut a bagel it smashes them in order to do so. Thought it would work better. And it does cut easier than a bread knife. Works as good as possible but not like a machine at the local bakery

I donot like knives as I work with my hands without them I cannot work cutting bagels with a knife just do dang dangerous this solves that problem work flawlessly does what I expect it too do
