My box was missing A securing knob and the base ring. I text them and told them. They Replied right back, even on a Sunday! And I had to show him a screenshot of my order off of Amazon . And then I had a text saying the replacement was on its way! Great customer service! In a really good umbrella base! Very heavy and sturdy!

Nice looking and well built stand, but not heavy enough for windy days. This is probably best to use under a table with an umbrella hole built in. It kept blowing over when used by itself with a 9' umbrella. I'll keep it and use it under my patio table, but ordered a heavier one with wheels for use with just an umbrella with no table.

So far this is a great purchase. I have a glass top patio table and have had some very wet and windy days. This is holding my umbrella securely in place!

I was pleased with the appearance and the weight. I can move it, and I'm 69 years old, but it's heavy enough to keep our patio umbrella upright even in a very windy climate. I roll the umbrella down when I know it's going to be extra windy, but a couple of times a storm snuck up on me during the night. I was glad to see it still standing in the morning, and would recommend this product.

Update*The company got back to me within a few days and sent the missing part. The part came within two days. Overall, the customer service was 5 stars, but I could not give the product 5 stars since I did have to go out of my way to get a complete product.Original Review: I ordered this base because it looked similar to one I have had in the past and that one worked great. The base does seem solid and it is heavy enough for keeping an umbrella in place. it was easy to put together. The problem I encountered was that it was missing a part. It was missing the locking knob to keep the Umbrella attached to the base. I have reached out to the company to hopefully receive the missing part. If I do not hear back within a week I will be forced to return it and get another product. I had read other reviews stating they were missing a piece, but I was hopeful that would not be the case for me.

I returned it. It was garishly painted a yellow gold & black. Very ugly. The online product was only black.
