Really wanted something that was mobile - and this is, but just barely. Wheels bind and get hung up on the smallest ridge or bump. It really takes two people to do it.

The few days that I've had it, I have greatly enjoyed being outdoors on a shaded porch and deck so I feel more attuned to the rhythms of my little spot on earth; not so isolated from the neighbors around me. That's quite a lovely psychological state! I have some of the most marvelous neighbors anyone could ask God to provide! They all keep an eye on my state of being & many health issues but NO ONE is ever intrusive - just caring & ready to be helpful!

My wife and I were searching for a workable solution to mounting her clothes dryer somewhere, but yet make it movable and not have to dig a hole in the yard. I read a blog where someone used an outdoor umbrella stand for their clothes dryer. We filled it with sand and voila, we now have a portable clothes dryer that we can move about and store indoors this winter. It works great! It could be used for a movavle flag pole stand as well. I am sure there are other uses for the stand.

The umbrella stands up tall and does not fall in even fairly strong breeze. I recommend sand vs water. I presently have water. It easily moves around with the wheels. It's an added bonus that the wheels lock.

The base itself is good. However, it came with an extra wheel that was smaller than the other four so it wasn't a spare. The instructions were strange on where to put it. I tried finding out online but no one else had the extra wheel. Working fine without it.

This umbrella stand is not properly made. It has blown over 3 times with little breeze. I don’t even put the umbrella up now. I added lots of sand to the water with no luck. I don’t want the stand but returning is a huge hassle now that it is filled with water and sand. Don’t buy!

Not the best picture I know, but when it came to protecting the TV on the dock for the football game, they asked to use ours, it's the base the whole dock trusts most, when it's windy, we never worry about fishing our umbrella out of the water.
