We’re very happy with these umbrella brackets! They’ve held up to our extreme heat here in Northern California and all the rain we get during winters. They’ve held our umbrella securely through some really high winds. They’re easy to move around (we tend to move them from one side of the deck to the other depending on time of day. They are a little expensive for what they are. We would love to buy a second set if they were priced a little better. But they are definitely worth the purchase!

I'm not sure why this product has had a lot of returns. It's a solid made product. Thick metal tubing where the pole is held. Strong on the hold where it attaches to the deck railing. I give 5/5 in quality, ease of use and stability. Great product.

Pros: easy to install (less than 5 minutes), sturdy holders, like that you can adjust up or down and move if needed, has ice rubber protector pads so won't scratch...BUT...Cons: The rubber pads came off in 90 plus degree weather. I tried to use gorilla glue to glue back and they came off again.Otherwise great if you live in climates that doesn't get to 90 plus degrees.

I was in the market for a means to attach stringed light poles to my deck and did not want to drill any holes or permanently fasten any screws. I shopped around and settled on 2 different "patio umbrella holders", both of which were very similarly priced and looked nearly identical. I ordered both, and this product was the one I chose to keep.Both this and the other product as mentioned were very very similar in appearance, the other product had a slightly thicker tube, but the attaching brackets and bolts on this product were beefier and larger. I felt this would add to the sturdiness of the holders attaching to my deck railing and staying in place as needed.I would definitely recommend this product...

Sorry to say that after 2 months, this thing failed us. We really liked it up until the padded stickers slipped and caused a safety hazard for us. Luckily, I noticed that they had slipped before the umbrella stand fell off the deck railing and crashed to the lower deck. Someone could have gotten hurt.I assume the heat melted the sticky backing off of the pads, so we immediately returned this and opted for a traditional umbrella stand instead.Oh well.

I have purchased 4 of these in the past as they are a terrific option and much sturdier than the clunky bases that fall over with the slightest breeze! The reason this one is my favorite is because typically there are two hollow tubes the pole slides through meaning the metal pole sits the deck (or nothing if you are putting the umbrella on the outside of your railing), and this set has one with a closed end (with hole for drainage) so that it does not sit directly on the deck and has a place to sit if used outside the railing!! Awesome. I did just get it so not sure as to how it will stand up but out of the packaging pleasantly surprised!!Also my first order did not come with pads and I was quickly sent a replacement order, no fuss, no muss!

This deck umbrella holder is easy to install by clamping it to the railing balusters. It works well, is sturdy, and can be easily moved.

This product is AMAZING! We could not find anything even close to this in New Zealand and struggled for shade solutions for our narrow deck. These are great heavy duty quality and fit our deck railing perfectly. I love that you can mount them on the outside of the deck so they take up even less space. We will likely get another 1 or 2 of these. Honestly so happy our purchase and delivery time was much shorter than expected too.

I absolutely love this product and it’s design. It works perfectly for what it was designed to do. The material is solid metal and feels extremely well made. Super happy with this purchase and would highly recommend.One issue I had was that the threads were extremely tight. Used a pair of pliers to force the bolt through and then, once through, it was easy to turn. Minor issue, just reinforced for me how well this product is made.
