I actually bought 2 of these cameras--one for my truck and one for my van, and am looking to get one more to use as a backup camera for my skid loader. This camera system is so easy to set up, and is a great value for the price. Has an excellent picture on the screen.

I haven't installed this camera yet, but I have tested it, and it works great. Crystal clear picture and it can be switched on and off in the lighter socket. I also got a free second USB cable with switch. I like the large screen. An excellent camera for a great price.

I purchased the Backup Camera after doing some research online. I wanted a backup camera system that was high-quality, easy to install, and had good features. I was very impressed with this product.The installation was a breeze, as I only had to plug the camera and the monitor into the USB ports of my truck. The system detected the devices automatically and paired them without any hassle. The monitor had a large 7-inch screen that displayed a sharp 2K image of the rear view. The camera had a wide-angle lens of 170 degrees, which covered the entire back area of my truck. The camera also had no-glare LED lights that enhanced the visibility at night or in low-light conditions. The image quality was superb, and I could see everything clearly.The system also had some nice features that made it more convenient and user-friendly.Overall, I was very happy with the Backup Camera. It was a great upgrade to my truck, and it improved my safety and confidence while reversing. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a backup camera system that is high-quality, easy to install, and has good features.

This rearview backup camera kit came with all the parts indicated, was easy enough to install, and priced fairly (plus a discount at time of purchase). We installed it in a recently acquired 2009 Subaru Forester.I wanted the option to turn it on any time so we used the cigarette lighter plugin. My son drilled a small hole in the rear door near the license plate. He mounted the camera as per instructions using the license plate screws/holes. Ease of installation took precedence over aesthetics when running the cable from rear to the dash. The wire shows in a few places. Most of it, though, is hidden inside crevices and the rubber trim around windows.I’m 5’1” and the primary driver of this vehicle. Placing the viewing screen on top of the dashboard in center obstructed my view. Best location was either on the far left of the dash or where it ended up as shown in photo. The camera screen is easy to see, and the clock display remains visible. Above the rearview mirror might be okay too if you’re taller. It took maybe 40 minutes to install everything. I had some concern the screen might be a little small, but it’s fine.We installed this unit about a month ago. So far it works perfectly. I’m happy with this aid to driver visibility and safety.

This camera worked great! This is a wired system priced very reasonably for as well as it works. The screen is very bright with a clear, sharp picture. At night the picture remains clear and very easy to see. The 7” screen is plenty big enough for the job, and has manual controls on the reverse for fine tuning such as flipping the picture, brightness and the like. This expands you choice of mounting locations because you can mount the screen upside down if needed.It’s perfect for helping you hook up a trailer with an older pickup! You simply can’t miss. Backing into a tight space or garage becomes easy. You will wonder why you didn’t do this sooner! If you have a car without a backup camera, or are simply tired of an old-school 2.5” video, I highly recommend this package.You have two options for the actual install. One is you use the accessory outlet and included push button to manually power up the camera system as needed. The second is to power it from the positive wire on one of your backup lights. This powers the whole system automatically when you place your car into reverse. It’s just a little longer install, but very worth it. The instructions tell you how to use the included wire taps to make it easy.Simply place the camera behind your license plate (and frame, if you have one) and manually pivot the camera to achieve the correct view. Plug in the wire. Be careful with the plug orientation, there is a guide molded into the plug and arrows on the outside to help Run the cable for the front camera and hide it along the molding and edge panels as needed. This is actually the hardest part but don’t worry, you have plenty of cable! Plug in the screen in front. Place it where it’s easy to see using the 3M adhesive included and you’re done!

I purchased one of these units a couple years ago for my other vehicle. I used it for a front facing camera. I had a mustang with a low hanging front spoiler, so as not to continually scrap the spoiler on curbs and curb stones, I installed this unit to assist in guiding me when pulling into a parking spot and avoid the terrible misfortune of tearing up the front spoiler. Worked great. Loved it. So, now I decided to do the same for my Ford Escape. No front spoiler problem here, however, I also use it for a front facing camera, again, to assist in parking. This helps in heading off any front end damage if parking to close to a parking garage wall etc. The screen size is perfect and places on the dash without any line of site problems when driving. This is a great unit. Either front or rear camera monitoring. The color display is clear and precise.....and here in lies a problem...... It worked great for a few hours. Great display and then all of a sudden, blurry. I thought the camera had a smudge on it and cleaned it gently with a very soft cloth....problem still persists. Made sure protective film was off the display. Even when it is on, the display seemed super. So I don't know what happened. The hook up is quite simple and quick. The instructions give several options for the power hook up. I opted for the 12V power/cigarette lighter. I suggest you should map out where all the wiring will be going first, this allows you to see where and how you will hide all the wires. I am a stickler for hiding all the mechanics. The length of cable for the camera is more than enough if you use it for a rear camera and plenty the same for a front facing camera. This display is a no brainer and would recommend the purchase to anyone. I'm sure I can fix the blurry display problem, perhaps a reset may do the trick. Remember the vendor gives a 2 yr warranty on this product, which is great. I also recommend to watch their installation video on YouTube and also, any questions can be directed to their customer service folks. This is a good quality, attractive monitor with no RCA jack hook ups...this is a plus in my book. So do yourself a favor, make your life easy.....this is a no brainer purchase. Best.This product actually deserves five stars, I made it four only because of the blur image issue. Once I find out what the problem is/was, I'll update this review. Make sure you read all the directions carefully and don't try and take short cuts. This is a simple install, so one should not have much of a problem with the hook up....enjoy

Very fast shipping. Amazing rear camera system. 12 volts and USB powered works fine. The image is crystal clear and much better than the factory rear camera in my pick-up truck. Very easy to install. (plug and play) Please note that it is a wired system and it comes with 25 ft. of cable. Tried it in rain, snow, -15 C and it works perfectly well. Also, extremely clear color night vision and the adjustable guide lines are very practical. Greatly satisfied. I strongly recommend this product.
