Excellent RV Camera – Easy Install & Quick Setup!I recently purchased this camera for my RV, and I couldn’t be happier with it. The installation was incredibly easy, even for someone who’s not super tech-savvy. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary hardware was included.Setup was just as fast—I had it up and running in no time. The picture quality is outstanding, both during the day and at night, with sharp, clear images. The wide-angle view gives me great coverage, which really boosts my confidence when backing up or changing lanes.Overall, this is a fantastic camera for any RV owner looking for reliability, ease of use, and top-notch performance. Highly recommended!

Added this camera to Winnebego View to have continuous ability to monitor towed vehicle as well as anything else behind our coach. Instructions were clear, camera & monitor were paired right out of box. Power to camera was obtained from rear running lights and works perfectly.Everything you need to add to your vehicle is included, and as others have stated the support is excellent if you have a question. This is a quality built item, great support at a great price. Highly recommend

This is a good product for a reasonable price. Everything you need is included in the package and it is quite easy to install. It took a few minutes for the camera to connect to the display properly but after it did, the response time was good and the picture was very crisp and clear. It even works well at night. I installed it on my 36 foot motorhome and the signal from the camera is responsive and clear. I am really loving this setup!

My travel trailer was pre-wired for a Furion camera but I couldn't justify the cost for their system. However, this system is perfect. I love the big screen. With a 30' camper, I was very concerned about signal strength but the signal is strong and clear. The most difficult part is mounting the camera. The bracket didn't fit our Furion mount. (Edit: Now that I look at it closer, I think the included bracket would have worked). I could have easily mounted it with the supplied brackets, but I am good at modding electronics and was able to mount it in the Furion housing. I added a small coax cable to bring the antenna connection to the Furion housing. It was a bit of work but looks clean and works great. For those without the ability to mod, using the included brackets would still work great and be a clean installation. Oh, and to give an idea of the quality of the product, all the fasteners (screws, nuts, washers, etc) are all STAINLESS! I did open up the camera and found the electronics coated for water resistance and the housing and seals were high quality. I was quite impressed with the build quality. This system is a great value for a quality product. I highly recommend.

We bought this system for use on a rental travel trailer, as this year the folks we rented from do not provide one. Having gotten their permission, I will put this on the Furrion mount and remove it when we return the RV. I haven't installed it yet but did do some basic RF bench testing to make sure it will work, as we won't have time to get something else if it doesn't. First things first, as seen on a spectrum analyzer, this system operates as a FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread-Spectrum) device much like Bluetooth, at 2.4 MHz. Not sure of the protocol, so can't comment on that. There is an FCC ID number (good!) but I did not get a chance to look it up yet. Once I identified the band it was operating on, I put all three antennas on a network analyzer to see if they were resonant at 2.4 GHz. A properly matched (tuned) antenna will make or break the range of the system. In this case, all three antennas were well-matched, at or very near the center of the band at 2.45 MHz. (see pic) Next up was to determine the range of the system. Powering the receiver at my bench, I set up a mobile cart with a small (7Ah) battery and the camera. The kit comes with plenty of choices and adapters for power. That comes in handy.(UPDATE: The newer Furrion batwings have a very small TRS (2.5mm?) female power jack and it the included adapter worked as it should.)So, camera on cart and my phone in front of it displaying the famous "spinning taco" website (for motion, frame drop, freeze-up detection) I rolled the cart around the lab in ever-increasing distances until I could go no further. It's a large building, with lots of walls and such. About the farthest away I could get was maybe 200-250 feet away with plenty of obstructions, but the system stayed linked up and the video was smooth throughout the test. Not a single dropout was detected. I thought that was pretty impressive, especially at this price point. Like all radio-based backup systems, some latency is there - maybe 200 milliseconds, but for this purpose that is fine and should be expected. Every RF-based system I have used has had similar latency. A wired camera is the only way to avoid it. No worries, I'm not filming a drag race, I just want to know what's behind the camper, and back up without hitting things. The image is clear, the setup is easy and the logic of the menu system is pretty obvious, I didn't have to consult the manual. The receiver does not come with a glass-mount suction cup, so I picked one up with a large sticky foot elsewhere on amazon. There is a standard metal U-bracket included for the receiver, which for some permanent installs makes sense. So that's my review for now - I think it has enough power and sensitivity to work with our 24' rental RV based on my lab testing. Now I can work on prepping the other things that come with pulling a camper half-way across the US. When we get back in a few weeks I should be able to update the review as to how it went. :)UPDATE JULY 22, 2024A 3500+ mile New England camping trip behind us, I can say the system performed very well. Occasionally, maybe once every few days if we were in a very populated area (major city) with likely a very large amount of radio traffic, the system would lose signal for just a couple of seconds. Not surprising when you consider how popular and busy the 2.4 GHz band has become. It was never an issue, the signal returned within a second or two in each case. I chose to set the camera up so the horizon was just visible at the top of the screen, meaning I could no longer see the bumper of the camper, but kept me well aware of the traffic situation behind me. . The camera still has a wide enough angle of view that backing the camper up safely into a campsite was never an issue. Between the additional side mirrors I mounted on my tow vehicle (slightly convex) and this camera system, I had ZERO blind spots and could monitor my environment well enough to change lanes effortlessly at will with no risk of cutting anyone off. For the price this seems a very good system.

I bought this wireless camera to improve rear vision on my new Grand Design Imagine 18BH camper. The camper came pre-wired with a Furrion connector, so the basic initial setup was fairly easy as the camera was Furrion connector ready. The camera antenna broke when I was installing it, and I reached out to Amtivo support (done via email), and Lucky responded promptly and sent me a new antenna. The receiver worked initially worked very well to pick up the signal coming from the camera on the back of the camper, and the screen display looked great. But the camera was pointed downward too far and I could not see vehicles behind me very well as a result. I worked with Lucky again and based on his input I turned the bracket over and that improved my range of adjustment and solved the problem. Later, after not using the camper or camera for a while, I had trouble getting the receiver to capture the camera signal. I worked with Lucky once again to fix the issue, which involved re-syncing the camera and receiver. I also noticed that the video can get a bit washed out in bright sunlight, but this can be adjusted in the settings on the receiver. So my issues mainly involved initial start-up items, and getting to better know how the system works including adjusting various settings. Now everything is working fine and I anticipate years of solid operations from this unit.

Always sceptical about wireless cameras for my caravan as I've tried a couple in the past but this one beats them all. Great picture quality, easy to set up and works very well between car and caravan. Night vision not tried yet but I have no doubt it works well. Normally I'm parked up and have a glass in my hand by the time darkness falls anyway! Recommended. The images were taken when I drove away from the caravan and there was around 75mtrs distance plus a line of 8 caravans. Picture quality wasn't affected and in fact better than the pics show. Get one!
