I'm a bigger guy and I work pretty hard outside and sometimes my back is sore at the end of the day. I got this the help give me a little more support to try and save my back. I think its working. My back isn't quite as sore and I find that I tend to not do those twisty motions when I move something with this on. What I really like is the size though. Like I said, im a big guy (270) and a lot of the time, other back braces are a one size fits most and they are just way too small. This one fit very nicely and is comfortable enough for extended wear. Recommended

The issues causing my back discomfort cannot be fixed so I wear a brace support a lot. There are other braces that fit, in general, like this one: primary belt that closes with velcro, then two side straps that cross over to adjust compression. Just don’t assume that all supports with this design will work the same. I know because I have two of them and they are fine, but the Cofoe brace is exceptional.Looking at the Cofoe brace I was skeptical. The piece that fits against your spine looked bulky and felt harder than other materials I’m used to. Putting it on and adjusting the compression was easy and the relief was immediate. In place, it is not bulky or hard at all; instead it is completely comfortable. All the parts seem to stretch and move with me and nothing is poking me in the back. It is lightweight and I can wear it comfortably on the treadmill, rower, the elliptical, or just while sitting. The fabric is thin, but not invisible. I can wear it with sports clothes but it is noticeable under my go-to-work clothes. It’s important to know that this brace also provides compression adjustment all the way around you because of the larger back section and the ability to adjust the side straps at the back before pulling them tight to the front. Product instructions say to not wear it for more than 8 hours at a time and that it can be hand-washed. The instruction sheet also noted that the brace’s service life is 3 years. It’s the first time I’ve seen a life-span for a back support and I appreciate Cofoe mentioning it. Having worn braces for six years, I know this is true - - they do not last forever.I went up a size and think this enabled me to have a better fit, especially with the options for adjustment. I absolutely love this brace and think it is well-priced for its quality, comfort, and effectiveness.

I’m a small person (5’2” 130 lbs) and ended up getting a size large based on other reviews. I’m glad I did because a medium would’ve been too small. I like that you can secure it and then use the 2 tabs to pull it tighter. Provides good support.
