For the price, the horn itself and lacquer was ok. The packaging was not very good as it came in a box within a box, but with very little bubble wrap. The metal had a slight ripple from knocking around, but nothing major. My main reason for returning is the key is a bit hard to play without serious chops. I didn't really like the tone on all notes, but that may have been my ability at that register. But for $50 not bad for someone who wants this key and can play well
