Very pretty brass finish that polishes up to really shine with just a little effort. I do wish it shipped in a box but mine arrived in good condition. Includes a removable mouthpiece and nice velvet carry bag. Has a good sound and is a great bugle.

My great-grand father was a bugler in WW1 so we wanted to have one next to his medals and helmet. This is a very nice one, to modern specs (early 20th century were a bit different) and yes, you can play it if you want.For us, it's a decorative piece to honor him and it fits perfectly.
