The reason I wanted this is for this bugle to be a photographic prop, and that is what I did. I'll use it again, of course, this won't be a one-off.The build looks VERY hand-made, and the way they make it is REALLY old world, and the results is that it is a beautiful piece. The colors are slightly enhanced in my picture, but it is a VERY beautiful color anyway, old tarnished brass with some tarnished copper showing, and a little bit of silver soldering at its joints, to boot.Now whether or not you agree, it's just my opinion, I don't ever even plan on trying it out, yet, anyway, maybe someday.If you are wanting a musical instrument to put on a shelf as decor, you can't get a better deal of an instrument for that.I HIGHLY recommend this, for my purposes, as a visual, anyway, for music, I just can't say.The only bad thing was the wait, it came from China and it takes a long time. They don't say where it's coming from, but, believe me, this is probably the slowest and least inexpensive way out there.It's worth the wait, but just don't get in a hurry.It was just wrapped in some plastic and slipped into a plastic bag, so no real protection, but no damage was done. A dent would only enhance it, anyway. : )
