Set was easy but had to restart mini desktop twice and finally recognized the speed were my built in WiFi adapter only getting like maximum 25mbps and now like 651mbps, I wish I would have taken the old speed versus new speed.No brainer. Highly recommended…

I was having problems with my old wireless adaptor and bought this as a replacement. It took longer to unwrap it that it did to get it working. A+

The device worked for two months then stopped three days after the date that is could be returned. Tried several times to get to work, but ended up using my old TP-Link device and it picked up the Wifi signal immediately. Unfortunately, my old devise not picking up the speed my WiFi now offers. The Wavelink was getting the speed from the WiFi but just stopped working. I will go back to TP-Link to find a newer faster device.

I have just a basic cheap laptop that I use for fast things. Unfortunately, it only has WIFI 5 build on the motherboard and can't be changed. I have 1 GIG Fiber internet and the router/Modem uses WIFI 6E so my cheap laptop was not able to take full advantage of my Internet connection. So I purchased this just to plug into the USB 3.0 port. My download speeds went from 350 Mbs Down to almost 800 Mbs down. Upload was close to 800 Mbs also. I knew I wouldn't get the speed I get on my desktop because that's hooked with a CAT 8 Ethernet cable going into a 2.5 GB network card. My speed on that is 1020 Mbs down and 1030 Mbs up.But on this laptop, 800 Mbs is way better than 300 Mbs. I run Windows 11 pro V24H2 and it saw the device and loaded the drivers. I put in my password and within 30 seconds to a minute I was online and ready to go. Very good value and quality, easy setup and works very well for me. I recommend it.

Make sure you have an internet connection and download the driver's from the website. If you just plug it in, the unit WILL NOT work. You need the driver's installed before installation.Once installed, it is very fast and maintains a steady signal. No issues.

Ich habe den WAVLINK AX5400 USB WLAN Stick für meinen PC erworben und bin äußerst zufrieden mit der Leistung und Funktionalität dieses Adapters. Die Installation verlief problemlos, und der Stick wurde sofort von meinem System erkannt. Dank der Unterstützung für WiFi 6E erlebe ich nun deutlich höhere Geschwindigkeiten und eine stabilere Verbindung, selbst in Umgebungen mit vielen WLAN-Netzwerken. Die Tri-Band-Funktionalität ermöglicht es, flexibel zwischen den Frequenzbändern zu wechseln und stets die beste Verbindung zu nutzen. Besonders beeindruckt bin ich von der verbesserten Reichweite und Signalstärke, die durch die vier rotierbaren Hochleistungsantennen erzielt wird. Zudem bietet die WPA3-Verschlüsselung ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit für meine Daten. Ein hervorragendes Produkt, das ich jedem empfehlen kann, der seinen PC mit schnellem und zuverlässigem WLAN ausstatten möchte.

I use 3 routers, 2 AX and one AC. I had to fiddle with the router settings to keep this one from disconnecting. Pretty stable now. Some channels still an issue on the AC router. I had to disable AX and 160 mbps. Not the best it could be unless I get rid of the AC router. 5.0 running at 866mbps. If I turn on AX on the AX routers, it slows down?However, it connects more reliably on startup than the built in Intel Wireless AC 9260 WiFi card. So, mostly what I wanted it for. Just does not work as expected.

J'ai un ordinateur fixe qui est éloigné de notre box avec un mur.J'ai tenté différentes choses pour le connecter à Internet comme les cpl ou les clés wifi.C'est ces dernières qui ont donné satisfaction. J'avais investi dans une grosse clé wifi qui captait les signaux en 2,4 et 5 Ghz --> je montais à 350 Mbps en download. (cf photo)Puis ayant appris que notre box émettait aussi en wifi 6 je me suis dit tentons des clés usb wifi 6.J'ai pris plusieurs modèles et c'est celui là qui a donné le plus satisfaction.Les 2 autres modèles (format clé usb avec ailettes) étaient satisfaisants avec des pics à 500-600 Mb/s.Cependant le modèle de Wavlink les a tous battus avec + de 900 Mb/S, soit 3 fois plus que ma clé initiale et 2 fois plus que les autres clés en wifi 6....(cf photo 2)Alors certes il est un peu encombrant et un peu plus cher que les autres mais franchement si vous voulez un max de vitesse et que votre box émet en en wifi 6 alors n'hésitez pas!Je précise pas de déconnexion et l'install est facile...

Bought for my son, who’s just started University. He’d taken along his gaming PC, which he’d run via Ethernet at home. As there’s no Ethernet in his room there, he’d been using WiFi via a decent-quality dual-band dongle, the performance of which was neither fast nor stable enough for satisfactory gaming, (especially his beloved FPSs) and it also ran worryingly hot. After doing some research into available alternatives that wouldn’t break the bank, I sent him one of these WAVLINK AX5400 Tri-band adapters. He reported that the set-up was extremely easy, the signal (from a shared router) very strong indeed, and the gaming performance is easily on-par with an Ethernet connection for speed, stability and minimum lag. As it’s a remote 4-antenna array, it sits on his desk and connects via cable to one of the USB 3.0 ports at the back of the PC, so it runs cooler and there’s no interference from the PC itself.It can also be used as a WiFi hotspot, so your mobiles, tablets, and laptops can ‘piggy back’ the antenna to utilise its stronger, faster connection to the router.In conclusion: the Tri-band WAVLINK AX5400 is a couple of orders of magnitude better than its older Dual-band cousins, whilst not costing much more, and you’ll find it’s well worth spending the extra.
