Great product that was easy to setup and get working. Unfortunately I didn't have a 3.1 USB on the laptop I was hoping to use this with. To try it out I used on my desktop and worked great. Fast speeds from this little bad boy. I have had zero issues thus far and the connection has been great. If you are in need of modern speeds this is a good price and performs well. Just make sure that you have a USB port that is fast enough to have the correct throughput. If you run into the same problem that I have you could use a USBc adaptor but it will need to be able to handle the throughput of this much data. If this is something that you are looking at purchasing just make sure to do some research on the ports that you have and/or the adaptors you will need as they are all not built the same. WiFi 7 has some serious bandwidth and you will need something to handle a large amount of data. As far as this little gadget goes it has been working awesome. I am now waiting on the correct adaptor to use on my laptop with the lightning port. Awesome to be able to update the WiFi speeds with a USB port, simple and easy. There was a driver that I needed to download and that is something to be aware of. This adaptor is going on a laptop that I will be cloud gaming with and the higher speeds will be welcomed to get the best performance.

This USB WiFi 7 adapter is pretty great! When initially inserted, it appears as a read-only usb flash drive, having just enough space to hold the driver installer for win10 and win11. There's no Mac or linux driver on the drive, so this is very windows-specific. No other OS drivers provided or supported on their website. Once the driver is installed, it 'removes' itself as a usb flash drive and 'inserts' itself as the WiFi dongle and allows easy connection to any WiFi network.We don't have WiFi 7 in our house yet, but this has excellent connection to our WiFi 6e network. I tested 6GHz, 5GHz, and 2.4GHz and they all connect with great speed. Even the 2.4GHz was quite a bit faster than my old WiFi ac connector.This adapter is quite big and connects directly to the USB3 A port, so I am a bit concerned that it might get broken if bumped into. Thankfully this one will live on a USB extender cable (not included) so I can at least save my motherboard's USB port from any accident.

The Wi-Fi 7 adapter needs a driver. The driver shows up in File Explorer when the adapter connects. After the connection, performance is very good - it provides quick speeds and short delays. This helps with hard jobs such as online gaming, watching high resolution video, or getting big files.You need a router that works with Wi-Fi 7. This allows you to use the adapter completely.

This BrosTrend WIFI 7 adapter was a snap to set-up.I plugged it into my Windows 7 laptop, and it offered a prompt to install its driver, and I allowed it to.To test, I disabled my laptop's built in wifi, and connected with the new adapter. Result? Awesome. I have 1 Gigabit service, and over WIFI my download speedtest was 829 mbits/sec- on par with my ethernet.Good quality build and feel; the antennae are substantial, but really don't get in the way. This wifi dongle has excellent range, gives a solid connection, and works straight out of the box at exemplary speeds. It performed well on the in-house network as well, computer to computer.It's more expensive than some other adapters- but its solid behavior and performance are worth the price. No more "fiddling" to get the speeds and performance that you hoped for-- it's just right upfront. Recommended!

A USB wifi adapter, easy to install on Win 11,came very securely packed.On first plug in, the drivers were found quickly and installed, and the adapter found my network straight away.The speeds I get, both upload and download are adequate,though for some reason, even though it's wifi 7,it likes to default to 2.4ghz Ang I keep having to disable and re-enable the WiFi to get it to use 5ghz.Saying that, once it's done, it tends to stay on it. Annoying, but not a deal breaker since it may be my router that's at fault, or the distance between since this is in my pc in the attic, and the router is in the kitchen.I'd think with a closer, more stable connection, it would be excellent.Well worth it if you prefer a WiFi instead of hardwired network,or can't use a different way of connecting.

After conducting tests over the past week, this adapter delivers remarkable performance metrics that validate its technical specifications. The tri-band capability provides genuine flexibility, with the 6GHz band delivering speeds approaching 2800Mbps in optimal conditions when paired with a top of the line WiFi 7 router positioned close enough.What distinguishes this adapter from previous generation models I've tested is its implementation of 4K-QAM modulation and 160MHz channel support, which tangibly improves spectral efficiency in congested environments. During peak household usage periods (7 streaming devices simultaneously active), the adapter maintained stable throughput without the connection degradation typical of lesser adapters. The hardware design incorporates effective heat dissipation despite the compact form factor, with temperatures remaining acceptable even during sustained high-bandwidth file transfers exceeding several Gb.Installation proceeded without problems on my Windows 11 system, with driver detection happening automatically without requiring manual intervention. Clear directions to download drivers and seamless install to get running. After install, I did resboot my PC to make sure the drivers were properly loaded and installed the adapter into a usb 3.0 port on the main bus (back of pc) and not via an external Hubs or front of PC USB add-on ports.Ive had a couple of these wifi7 adapters and usually been disappointed in my results via wifi. I do have a wifi7 system with 2.2gb coaxial service; that being said I can average 1100-1200Mbps with this adapter vs the 200-300Mbps I previously got with my stock wifi card.If I run Speedtest with both ethernet and wifi enabled; I see speeds of 1600-2000Mbps, which is 400-500Mbps faster than my previous wifi card.If I were to ding anything it is the configuration of the USB itself. Since my USB slots are vertical on the rear of my unit, the device in mounted sideways with limited rotation for the antenna to get the best line of sight to me router. But this is a limitation of my pc and I may try to find a usb extension cable to allow better placement.All in all, Im very pleased with this Wifi7 adapter, as it is the first to deliver what I expected
