It's a nice product, but the gasket gave up so fast, the unit began leaking shortly after purchased.

You get everything as described but it's a waste of money. It says it has hanging options but no holes in the top for the handle to be inserted, also it leaks, I had to use tangit/PVC cement to stop the leak, it's small, I would say it's best for quails or if u have small amounts of baby chickens like 5 chicks...oh and you will need something to rest it on, a small peice of block as once the cup screws in...it's below the bottom/base of the jug so placing it on the ground simply is a no no... My broiler chickens out grew this is a week, my common chicks had it a little longer but it's just not functional for chickens. And the green cap quality is poor

Bunnies will drink more from a bowl than a bottle, so this was a GREAT combination of both. Water flows well without leaking. It's easy to put together, BUT if your coop or hutch is 1/2" wire, the U clip will not fit. I had to get creative to get the waterer on the wire. Once it was on, it was fine. No complaints aside from mounting.

I purchased these for my duck brooder so I could mount them on the outside of the cage. The drinker cup is located inside of the water container. It is quite narrow, and even with my small hands, I was barely able to twist the nut on the threads. The first one went together and is working fine. The second one must not have gotten fully tightened as it has a slow drip. Now I have to figure out how to empty it in order to try to tighten the nut a little more. Awkward to install, but should hopefully work great in preventing my ducklings from make as big a water mess as they would with a traditional chick waterer. I would have preferred one large 2L waterer instead but I did not see that as an option. The metal wire support device was too short to fit around the waterer and hook onto the bars of the cage, it would need to be at least 1/4 inch longer to do that. This was true for both waterers. Thankfully the spring wire holder was both long enough and strong enough to do the job on it's own.

This is a great watering system for chicken. You can set it up so it is fully automated and you don't need to do anything except clean it every now and then since it does get dirty. But it refills itself by being connected to a hose. It works well and is easy to set up.
