I ordered this mister set-up for my paludarium. Unfortunately, set-up is not a breeze. Spent some time tinkering with this trying to get it right just to find out how loud it is when the pump is on. It would be great if there were a timer function allowing you to turn it off at night so you can keep this in your room. Hopefully someone will come up with a wifi controller to control the misting schedule. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of when you set your mister for. Personally, I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of instructions and the loudness of this unit.

Easy to use. Works like it should

I have installed this mister inside a aquarium, and am using it to keep the humidity up for a makeshift miniature greenhouse setup. It works great for this purpose, as it keeps all the soil moist for my plants and the humidity up. I imagine it would work great for a tropical reptile tank very well, too. I did have a bit of difficulty getting the timer on at first, as I found the instructions a bit confusing, as on the mister it doesn't have any obvious indication that the timer has been set.

Works very well and was easy to assemble. You do have to cut the black tubing to customize to your enclosure but that was easy. I haven't had any leaking issues.

I'm still giving this misting system 3-stars because after you get it figured out, it does work. Did I mention it's loud when the pump comes on? It just might wake you, if your setup is in the same room you sleep. The Instructions are worthless but with some tinkering I got it set up. Took about an hour. There are other options like a reptile fogger but they take up more room that I didn't have to spare so I went with this design. If you have more room that's defintely the way to go but you'll also have to invest in a humidity controller like an Inkbird, which is yet another expense, but well worth it.

Mine actually worked great! I had no leaking issues. This was my first "big boy" misting system (that requires assembly) and I was a little worried about setting it up. It doesn't come with a bucket/water holder so I got a container of water from the store that I could refill.Installation was easy. I used twist ties to fix the nozzles to the top of my enclosure. I was sure to push really hard on the tube to make sure it was in the nozzle/u-bends. The instructions aren't super clear but it wasn't that bad to figure out. There's a stopper that you need to put in the final nozzle so it doesn't leak water out the end. Then you just connect nozzle to tube, to nozzle, to tube, to u-bend, to tube to control panel. The pump is a little loud and I have it on a metal shelf so you can really hear when it's misting. When you first plug in the control panel it is flashing. The left number is how long (in seconds) for the mist to last and the right number is how many hours. Select what you want and press set. It'll mist for the first time and then begin the program.

Product doesn’t work. I assembled everything correctly, which was confusing since there’s no step by step instructions. Aside from that, when it was set up I plugged it in, and submerged the filter in water as told, and even then nothing went through the misters. I even left it running for a bit in case the problem was that the water just needs to flow up, but even then it never worked and water doesn’t come from it. Definitely a waste of money and time.
