This is difficult to use and adjust the settings. One of the sprayers leaked, so I just hooked up one. I thought I had the timing set correctly, but then it will spray too much and flood the aquarium. It’s too difficult to tell what the setting is at, and if you want to spray the cage manually, it messed up the settings again. I’ll be needing to buy a different sprayer now.

Easy to set up, wasn’t sure what to expect when buying, we never needed this product before. The timer goes off exactly as set. I’ve already recommended this to people. Would buy again.

I bought this for my ball python's bio tank, and it is utterly perfect. I love that I can use my own water jug, what ever size fits my needs, and the system itself is splendid! I am replacing my "Thrive" mister for another one of these, the quality is far superior to the ones found in the local pet store, and a fraction of the price! This is essentially a timed water pump, that sends water from your choice of reservoir, for me a one gallon jug, into your mister system. Misting apparatus itself is VERY high quality stainless steel and will not break like the plastic junk on other misting products.

On initial use I thought it was broken. As it turns out you need to use a large amount of water (even for testing). (at least a gallon but I have one of the 5 gallon jugs) set up is super easy; it does have instructions but it's pretty self explanatory.Pros:It's great for a small device and provides options for amount of time you want it to run and how often as well.I have it set up on a 40 gallon Paludarium for tree frogs and it does a great job I wish it came with more nozzles for misting but it works decently with the 2.Some may see this as a con but it is a little noisy. Not nearly as bad as an aquarium pump tho and since it's intermittent and not a constant it's really not that bad.Con:When you are running the water line beware of leaks. I nearly ruined the thing because the tubing wasn't all the way in (user error I know) so make sure that you have it pushed all the way in and the little release is pulled up (there should be a small gap) getting it to run manually was a challenge with the line since it was so tightly coiled it left a lot of room for air which cause the leaks.Once you purge the line of air the nozzles can be adjusted as you need them and they may only drip a little bit.Overall it's a great small pump for misting and if I need another one for a tank I will definitely get it again.Edit:Been using it since June of this year, still works great! The 5 gallon jug lasted from the day I set it up (June 14th) to August 27th had it running on a 5 second cycle every 2 hours!I do recommend soaking the spray nozzles in vinegar every month because they get pretty gunked up if you have hard water. Kind of like a shower head.

It's true, it is a lil noisy. I put some Styrofoam around at least the back and bottom and it helps tremendously. Another perk is I was able to split it between two tanks using a T Plug and its still evenly sprays both tanks. Easy to set and manually use. Only been a couple of days and works great. It actually comes with 2 plugs, not just 1. Just in case you considered purchasing more like I did since I'd be splitting them.

Manually spritzing the tortise enclosure just wasn't enough to keep moisture levels up. This works great. I like that it doesn't have an internal tank (nothing for me to clean). I can stick the intake tube in the gallon bottles of water we already use for the tortises and turtles. You can set the timer, but you can also manually run it whenever you need to. I wasnt sure how well it would push the water through, but it does great. When you first hook it up, make sure your connections are tight. We had some inital leaking. Stan the tortise seems happier already.

I'm going to start this out with the one thing I don't like about it. Then we'll finish on a high note. The one thing this kit (and some others, too) is missing, is a way to mount the nozzles. You'll notice in the photos they show the nozzles kind of "up there" but there's no indicator of just how they're up there. Well, that can be a problem, but there are ways around it.If you're using an acrylic terrarium, (or one with a plastic top), you can always drill appropriately sized holes in the walls or top to mount the nozzles. Other options include fabricating brackets from aluminum or plastic, 3-D printing some brackets, or getting some brackets to hold the tubing to the side of the terrarium with double sided tape. And probably some mounting methods I haven't even mentioned here or thought of. But the point is, you're going to need SOME kind of method to mount the nozzles and keep them in place. So if you choose this as your misting system / humidifier, keep how you're going to mount the nozzles in the back of your mind. Now let's talk about the good stuff. First, it's nice and compact, and being compact it doesn't become a "centerpiece" but rather something that I can tuck into the background or hide somewhere. So I like the aesthetics of it. It's all self-contained, which is a HUGE plus. A lot of the misting systems on the market have separate pumps, which I'm not fond of unless you need a BIG system. It's easy to program (or run manually). And it actually works pretty well, putting out a decent spray. You've seen the "vegetable misters" in the produce isle at the grocery store? This puts out a bit more than that, even. A good spray. The "shark-bite" style connectors make hooking everything up a BREEZE. It puts out a little noise but it's not going to wake up the neighbors or anything. The backlit screen is fairly easy to read (some of the words are a bit small for my aged eyes though) and nicely illuminated. The amount of tubing they give you to set up is pretty generous, and the intake filter is weighted so it won't just float, which is nice. If you need to take some of the bend out of the tubing (it comes rolled up pretty tight) I use a heat gun on "low" to gently warm a good size section of the tubing and gently straighten it out, it can really help if you can't get it to lay the way you want it. Just be careful not to get it so hot it melts. In all, the whole system is just really nice and very easy to use.I would like to point out that, despite every photo depicting otherwise, this does NOT balance on the back edge magically. It lays flat on the bottom, being a cube and all.To wrap it up, it would be nice if they included SOMETHING to mount the tubing / nozzles in the aquarium / terrarium. Even if it's just some small tube holder / clamps that double-sided tape onto the side. Something to get the user started. It's not that hard to work something out, and options abound if you're a little creative, but it would still be nice to see something included. But everything else here, is great. I love the look, the small footprint, the ease of use, and the quality of everything. For the price, I guess you can't expect everything, and what they're asking for this is definitely reasonable. At the end of the day, it's a solid little offering for very little money, with just a tiny amount of DIY involved. I gave it 4 stars, and recommend it.
