I have young cats who need to be fed during the night. They aren’t airtight so I wouldn’t use these to feed pets if I went away (their intended use) but they are perfect my purpose.

It's very easy to use, serving 4 meal per day. It also, beep when meal time is reached. Best, work with 4 AA batteries.

This cat feeder is easy to use and simple to set up. It comes with two ice packs to allow you to fill sections of the feeder with wet food, while keeping it cold. The timer is adjustable, allowing you to set the feeding time for each slot. Each slot will stay open until it is time to switch to the next set of food.If you find that freezing the ice packs every night is a hassle, an alternative would be to set an earlier feeding time for dry foods subsequent to feeding wet food. For example, you could start with wet food at 8:00 AM and then have the timer set to switch to the next feeding slot at 10:00 AM. That way, you don't have to worry about your pet eating wet food that has been sitting out for a while.

Our cat would start yowling each and every morning at 3am for his breakfast. I started to put refrigerated cat food in this feeder before we went to bed and after a week, the cat understood the noise of the feeder rotating and the 3 beeps meant it was time to eat. I programmed Alexa to turn on the kitchen lights at 4am and the feeder to open up a minute later. No more getting up to feed the cat! We feed him treats during the day with this feeder and he totally knows the schedule. One thing to know - the cover opens at the first scheduled meal and stays open for the rest of the meals schedule. Not a big deal, but the cover is just to protect meal #4. I originally thought it would open and close for each meal. It does not. Anyway, I highly recommend this feeder. Easy to program, easy to clean and good for pet owners wanting to sleep through the night.

This automatic cat feeder is pretty straightforward. Our cat needs a special diet of raw food with goat's milk. The cold packs were what made us get this feeder. The advertisement says each pair of cold packs stay cold 6 to 8 hours, ensuring up to 24 hours of freshness with seamless rotation. Unless you're opening the feeder up every 8 hours - which does not mean seamless rotation to me - the food in the fourth and maybe third, depending on your feeding times, won't keep the food cold or cool. It's a bit misleading. To me, freshness and seamless rotation means I don't have to open the feeder or do anything to the feeder or food for up to 24 hours. As it is, we're able to feed our cat with two meals and figure that second meal will be sitting out a bit. So we're just treating this as a two meal feeder, which still helps with our kitty. If we were feeding dry food to our cat, then this would work well.

This cat feeder is perfect for my fat cat. He likes to eat other cats food and this will limit his fat butt to only two meals a day. He only eats wet food so the ice packs are a perfect addition. This is a win win situation for me and both my cats. Thank you for such an innovative product, I have already told my cat lady friends. There is no smell when closed also.

This cat feeder does work exactly as advertised. I like that it included two sets of freezer packs to go under the tray. The packs keep any wet food cold until feeding time. The quality of the materials isn't the highest, nor is it the worst. There is a latch that has to snap down and it could be a little more sturdy, but after understanding that, I can make sure that lid is secured down well before trying to snap the latch down so it doesn't break off. Not blaming the manufacturing for that, just pointing it out so that if you get it, just be careful to make sure the lid is securely in place all around before snapping the latch in place. Push down gently around the lid first.I like that it requires batteries and doesn't use a power chord because cats LOVE to chew on things and this is one less opportunity for my fur baby to chew something in an effort to catch my attention. It requires 4AA batteries. There are four food slots and four timers you can set for feedings. The display shows the time and also you can see the battery power remaining. I like that a lot since it will give me an idea how long it will take the batteries to be used up and have some ready when they get low.The color of the feeder I received is yellow. No big deal, but if you order, be aware that you may not get what's showing in the images. Other reviews show what it looks like. If there no images already posted, I'd put some up for this review. The feeder has a sliding compartment that will move when the feeder rotates. Don't move it if the lid is snapped down, if you do, you may break something. Unfasten the lid before trying to slide the cover over to allow it to release. This is not HIGH QUALITY plastic but adequate and can break if you aren't careful. You will understand if you get one. If you are aware, you can be careful. Now to the feeding, I have a cat that loves to wake me up at 5 and 6 in the morning for food when he's not supposed to eat until 7, but he doesn't go by my time LOL.He's not falling for the timer and food dispensing, however, I'm still working on training him with it. I'm having to classically condition him to associate beeps with treats. The feeder beeps when the tray moves and pulls the lid back to reveal the food inside. The tray will remain that way until the next pre-programmed feeding time arrives and it will rotate. The cover does not close again until you close it. It's not automatic, it's manual. The beeps were effective when I put treats in each tray and I used the functions on the panel to make it rotate. When it rotates and is finished, it beeps. The cat sees the treats and scarfs them up. It's still a work in progress on getting him to associate that sound with food.So far, it's effective if I'm sitting right beside him, but the training will evolve to include treats, wet food, treats, and wet food in the rotation of the four trays. He doesn't seem to care to put his face in the tray. I know cats are sensitive with their whiskers. It's possible he doesn't like his whiskers touching the sides, however his hunger overrides that sensation. He will pull his food out quick and let it drop to the floor and eat it there, but that's when he's eating a treat. He's not fond of eating wet food from it yet.It has a lot of potential. I'm not putting the cat and his eccentricities on the functionality of this device. Overall, it functions as advertised, I like that it's battery powered, I'm pleased it comes with two sets of ice packs, but I'm hoping to get my cat to like the idea of it as much as I do.
