Cats stop nagging at you and wait by the machine with cats having internal clocks :) I got two and love them, container holds a lot of food. Easy to use with directions also great to have battery option or plug in or use both.

Easy to program. This is a quality item. Feeding the cats is either whether we are home or not.

The first one I ordered had a glitch in the program where it dispensed way more food than programed. I sent it back then after reviewing all the reviews again, I realized that there were only a few reviews that had issues with programing. Every other one was great reviews with the entire cat feeder. I decided to try it again mainly because the price was so reasonable, and the reviews were great. This time the program worked beautifully and was easy to use. My only issue I am having now is that my kitty is such a little pig that he tries to break into it. He can't get into it but has knocked it over a couple of times and even removed the dish. We've only had it about a week and he is learning to keep it intact, so I think it is going to work out fine.

Easy set up. Have 1 stray cat to feed when we are out of town and this was a great help for me to not worry while out of town. Tested the times and portions for approx. 2 weeks before getting a pattern down for when she comes around. She seems to like it too. Didn't take her long to figure it out since I engineered to place it in a clear storage box out of the weather with a side entrance for her. Perfect solution.

We got this because our cat is a pig. He is food obsessed, and we want to disassociate ourselves from the feeding so he behaves, especially in the very early mornings. This works great. The setup is a little cumbersome, but once you get it figured out it works well. We've been using it for 2 weeks and no issues. It has tremendously made his early morning behavior better. It also allows us to give several smaller meals vs two larger ones. It measures food in grams, so you need to do some experimenting to figure out what that equates to in cups.

I guess the pets may recognize the beep sound as an indication of feeding time It’s not loud, but it is noticeableOverall, this is a very solid pet feeder and seems very durable and accomplishes exactly what I needed to do and gives me the convenience controlling the feeds and feeding time from the convenience of my phone. In my specific case, I can watch on my video camera to see when my cats come by and then do a manual feed. With other Automated feeders, the food would just get dispense and sometimes other cats or raccoons would end up eating the food before my cats can get to it. This will solve that problem

You really get your money's worth with this cat feeder. It is user friendly, holds a lot of food, and is reliable. I love not having to wake up to feed our cat breakfast. Our cat loves the feeding routine. She knows when breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served and gets so excited when she hears it dispensing. I also love that I can portion her servings to give her just the right amount to keep her healthy and fit.
