As a busy mom I'm always running and sometimes I forgot to feed my cats, but this feeder is perfect, setting up was super easy as programming. You can program up to 6 times a day and the noise level is basically zero. This will improve my cats health since they will be receiving their food on time.

i have a cat who’s incredibly food motivated and this feeder is secure enough for when he tries to knock it over, i love the locking lid! the only drawbacks are the stainless steel bowl inserts, i removed them. they are so noisy and make it difficult for cats to pick up the food because of the weird frosted coating, it seemed like a sensory nightmare for them so i set them aside. another thing is to set up and change food timing, you have to go through the entire clock screen again, but it’s not that bad. i like the locking display too, so when my cats paw at it they can’t manually feed themselves— and there’s a manual feed mode too, which is great! one portion looks like a tablespoon + a teaspoon but i haven’t actually measured it yet. i use batteries to run my machine, so no, it doesn’t NEED to be plugged in as another reviewer stated. the battery slot is just on the bottom, and you need 3 D batteries. overall, i’m very happy with my purchase

Cheaply made for the price. Bonus points, it has to be plugged into an outlet to work.
