UPDATE: Lowering rating to junk (1 star). The DC resistance is relatively unimportant (so long as close to 50Ω). What matters is the broadband (wide frequency) response and that should be at least better than -35 dB return loss (or lower). I finally got around to measure the load on an SVA and it has an appalling return loss of only below -10 dB return loss up to about 1.5 GHz (horrible for calibration). The good SMA loads I have show return loss better than -40 dB all the way to 3.2 GHz. I have plenty of bad SMA loads as well. This N-Type load is junk as well (not suited for calibration of any spectrum analyzer or SVA).---The load measures 50.937 Ω between center conductor and inner ground. Initially measured inner conductor to external ground shell and it read 51.210 Ω. Pretty sure the contact is with the inner conductor so at almost 51 Ω it is 2% off. I was hoping for a 1% impedance tolerance but I guess you get what you pay for. Looking on the VNA the load does show like a solid dot in the Smith chart with no inductive or capacitive reactance up to 2 GHz. The open and short do show moderate spread in the higher frequencies.Agree with another reviewer on the THRU connector. Pure junk. Going to the trash bin. Does not couple on one side with any other male N-connector I have. Center female pins visually misaligned, etc.

Bought a used VNA that didn't come with the calibrators, these worked great. Well made and well marked. Will be used a lot and have confidence that they will hold up.

The kit is very convenient however the female to female adapter is garbage. The threads are too short for N type and the barrel is too small to be able to easily disconnect two cables without struggling. I had to throw it away. However the main calibration pieces seem to be ok.

First Opportunity, I opened these nicely finished and labeled pieces and celebrated my RigExpert. Worth the price. I found that I need one N-Type to UHF adapter to test the coax cable.I recommend this kit.

Had a fellow ham use my 50 Ohm load as a dummy load. Yeah, not a smart thing. Got the replacement along with spares.

I use these to calibrate my RigExpert Zoom 230 and they work perfectly for that!
