Well it’s the H version but as far as I can find out it’s the real deal and the correct firmware. I am pretty happy with it

It definitely has a lot of features and uses. I'm a CB guy and use it for antenna and coax tuning. A few videos on YouTube can get you set up and running. Like anything man-made, it's only as good as who programmed it. That being said, have a few other methods to check your work just to be safe. Otherwise, it definitely does the job.

Got it to measure SWR in antennas, and cable loss in coax. Does the job, and many more, at a fraction of the price of a bigger unit. Touch screen can be fickle, use the included stylus, especially if you've got large fingers. Case is somewhat fragile, it will definitely not take any sort of abuse. You get what you pay for with these units, if you need something you can accidentally drop out in the field, look elsewhere, but if you baby you're gear it'll work fine.

I have been happy so far. It helped me to build an EFHW antenna and tune a dipole for VHF/UHF

This tool is indespensible for measuring SWR. One of my best antenna tools.

I bought this network analyzer to use as an antenna analyzer. I'm an amateur radio operator, and being able to wring every bit of performance out of your equipment can mean the difference between making a contact and being lost in the static. An antenna analyzer and swr meter are essential equipment for any ham shack, but ESPECIALLY if you "home brew" your own antennas. I first heard about these little devices on YouTube, and immediately sought to buy one.So, here's the review:First impressions: This thing is small! Like, a-little-bigger-than-a-deck-of-cards small. That can be a plus and a minus, depending on what you're doing. Second, in the era of waterproof cameras and IPX-rated batteries, this is well..exposed. You can see all the components, and there is hardly any enclosure at all to project from impacts and water. I almost immediately put mine into a waterproof case (designed for a smartphone) to protect it.As for operation, there are no instructions included, so watch a few YouTube videos, and you'll get the hang of it. It's not really hard, in fact the most difficult thing about this analyzer is using the small touch screen. I recommend using the included stylus, as it does make things a bit easier.Keep in mind that this analyzer is set up to take SMA inputs and outputs, so if you are testing something using ANY other type of connectors, you need to get some adaptors. Fortunately, these aren't expensive, and are readily available.All-in-all, I really like this network analyzer. It's simple, easy to use, and VERY portable. I know that I'm only using it for about 20% of what it's actually capable of, but it sits my needs, budget and size criteria. If you're reading this, just go ahead and grab one. You won't be sorry.

The NanoVNA products are, in general, fantistic devices. Professional VNAs cost thousands. This one came with a broken thumb rocker switch and slight scaring on the display glass. I expect it may have been a previous return. I was able to use it to verify return loss on my antenna system using the touch screen before returning it however and it seemed to work fine. I have now ordered a 4H version (larger display and in a solid case). I would suggest you consider spending a few more $$ to get a more protected product in a case with a larger display. Hope this review is helpful.
