I’ve had this shredder for several months now. Amazing durable machine. My parents recently passed away and they had years & years worth of boxes of paperwork with personal info requiring shredding. This thing performed flawlessly with no jams. Handled the huge volume I put through it with no problems. Just remember to keep the per pass page count at or below the max recommended to avoid straining the machine. Now it continues to perform like new for our ongoing regular periodic shredding needs. I would highly recommend this shredder. If it ever dies I would definitely buy this model again. Great buy worth every penny.

I ordered this on Amazon. I chose this product as it looked the best and I accepted the longer delivery time as I wanted a quality product.When it eventually arrived it was fitted with a US plug so was not usable. I contacted Amazon Customer Services who were not at all helpful, but said I could return it but I had to take it to a drop off point as it was an international product. I don't see that as my problem as they had incorrectly supplied a foreign product to the UK market. The product is heavy and I am not able to take it on the bus.

I purchased this shredder for my home office.It shreds perfectly and cross cuts for privacy , which I needed for my type of business.I would recommend this shredder.

Recieved product today and put it together and started shredding. It is a sturdy/solid shredder. My old shredder died a while ago and had alot of shredding to do. Works great. It does cut off periodically due to overheating if you have a lot to shred as I did .But for normal use and the price point I am very happy with this product.

This is a very good shredder. Like any shredder though, don't think that 10 sheet means you can stuff anything you want in it. 10 sheets means, 10 sheets of standard copy type paper. According to customer support for another micro cut shredder that broke on me from HP, it does not mean you can put in thin cardboard, plastics, etc., not matter how thick they are. So after learning my lesson the hard way, I treat my shredders with care and use them for only shredding paper..... and if I shred items like real estate flyers, letters, etc., I make sure I'm feeding single sheets of whatever. If it's not copy type paper, I make sure for example, that I open envelopes and shred the envelope separately from its contents and divide up its contents if necessary.all of this being said, this shredder shreds with a finer/smaller cut than any other shredder I've bought before. And I recall that it mentioned that you'll spend less time emptying the bin and I can vouch for this being true because the cut is so fine, that more fits into the bin. So less emptying!As far as sound, this shredder is very quiet. I wouldn't say you can run it next to a sleeping baby, but it is quieter than any other shredder I've used. The feed area is fixed. The design does not allow for a "bar" that opens to accommodate more sheets easier like other shredders I've had. This is probably a good thing because as I said, if you want this shredder to last for years to come, you should treat any shredder gently. Take that from experience.The one thing I wished this shredder has, which my HP does have (they replaced that one under warranty) is it doesn't have a built in auto-feeder. The auto feeder feature is nice because it will feed single sheets for you and keep you from over feeding the shredder. But it will also allow you to go away and shred a larger number of sheets without attending to the shredding. But this is a nice-to-have. I don't have any requirements for auto shredding, but I do have the HP if I ever do.Would I have bought this Aurora over the HP if I purchased both again? Yes, simply because of the shredding size. The times between having to empty the bin is definitely nice!

This is my second Aurora shredder and I am just as pleased with this one as I was the first one. I took my first one to work and bought this one for home. I like the bigger basket and that it is on wheels and is easy to move around. I also like the fact that it does CD's as well.

I have this which I bought from a local computer store - the best shredder I have ever owned. Aesthetically pleasing, nice casters, powerful to handle a large number of papers, and comes with the deep trash-bin that is easy to in/out. I keep this under my home office desk. Then, my husband wanted one for his office room as well but since the local store no longer carried this model, I came to Amazon and ordered this. My husband loves his new shredder machine. We can't believe that both of us can fall in love with something like shredder machines.

This is great little shredder for home use. I had other before but they were not so good. This one is perfect. It spread really good. Stop when bin is full. Never named. Will definitely recommend and buy again if needed. ThanksIt's been year I have been using this shredder. If it had 10 star, I would have given to it. When I get the good quality product and I have used it for while. I can not help to give a great review again. This shredder is small but excellent quality. It indicate and stop working if the tray is full. Never had issue of paper jam like I had on my previous one. Not loud and shred everything from paper, dvd to credit card. If I need another I will buy only this one if it is available.I hope like good old times we in US start manufacturing good quality product like this. Majority items now a days are just to make quick money. Sales without proper instruction and material.Update: This is one great product. I have to appreciate when I see good quality product. After year it is still running perfectly. Also very easy to clean. Give all the indication in advance so you do not have any issue not working later on. Thank you so much.
