I grabbed one of these for my 7800X3D build and it's great.One thing to keep in mind is the EZ Flash USB port in the rear. The usb port for flashingthe bios is to the far right but the button is on the left. I didn't realize this when I was connecting my stuff and it caused stability issues because I had a usb lamp plugged into the usb flash port thinking that the usb port under the button was the flash port.

While the motherboard itself works perfectly fine. Everything connects and turns on the listing title for the motherboard is extremely misleading. I typed in the Wi-Fi motherboard I had found using PC parts picker and it brought me straight to this motherboard. Bought it, assembled it, only to have issues connecting to WiFi. After almost an hour of trouble shooting I took a look at the motherboard manual to see if I was missing something. Nowhere in the manual or on the box does it say WiFi. now I’m having to use various methods to get it to connect as there is no where for me to plug the pc straight into the Ethernet. Please be careful to double check the listing so you don’t have the same problem I do!!

Rebuilding a 9-year-old PC in the same case, with this new motherboard, CPU, RAM, SSDs, and PSU. I assembled all the parts except the cables before mounting the motherboard in the case (a lesson I learned the first time I built this machine -- no Band-Aids needed this time!). The ASUS user manual was very good, more detailed than the one for the board it replaced.The heat sinks, besides being quite handsome, are very good. All the component temperatures stay low even though the system runs 24/7. I don't need any of the color LED stuff (the case is solid black with no windows), so I can't say how good they are.The BIOS update worked perfectly, using a USB stick and the BIOS FlashBack button on the back panel.

Onboard audio isn’t the best. Required a DAC AMP solution to get decent enough audio for gaming. Other than that flawless product

Has real aluminum heat spreaders as well for the M.2s not plastic shields like in the past.Remember to immediately go to the Asus Support page and download the correct BIOS for your corresponding CPU generation, as you can have some bad performance issues otherwise.

Note!-it does come 5000 Ryzen ready (mine did at least when I bought it in January if 2022.) so long as you order from Amazon it’ll be the most updated BIos and you’ll be fine.-Bigger NOTE! YES it does come with Type C, it’s on the back of the motherboard so you can plug 1 type C connector to this board. And YES it does technically have the header on the right side of the board next to the power pins for type C HOWEVER!!!!! It is not usable out of the box! If you plan to plug it into a Type C format IO panel on a case like the one that the Corsair 5000D has you’ll be diss appointed. These models for what ever reason do not come with the metal adapter that goes on top of the header to connect a USB type C. You can buy it on Amazon for 8$ but be warned. I couldn’t find this information anywhere online.-final note , you loose 2 USB slots in the back as one is meant for Bios flashback and the other is for bios update so you can’t use them I tried already and nothing will read. Kinda dumb but it is what it is. Still has plenty USB connectors for what you’ll need.Review :This is by far in my opinion the best looking white motherboard you’ll find on the market. Compare to the prime Z what ever bird that has the little rgb on it this looks way better. This has that metal white and silver look to it that reflects RGb in the case to beautifully. It’s the center piece of my PC and just looks amazing. For price and looks it’s on point. The build quality is top tier and it should be for an ROG STRIX. It games fantastic and I’ve had no issues so far related to the board itself with gaming or any practical use of it. There’s even cute little indicated lights on the right side that show the status of your system if there’s an issue it’ll let you know.

Es una excelente tarjeta madre, demasiados puertos y conectividad, de Asus no esperaba menos, tal vez existan otras tarjetas más econimicas, pero por estética creo que vale la pena.Instalé una rtx 3090 y ryzen 5 5600x. No hubo ningún problema, el bios ya viene actualizado para los nuevos procesadores, de igual manera esta gama te permite actualizar vía USB, eso es una ayuda bastante considerable ( ya he tenido experiencias con tarjetas que no, y son un fastidio)10/10
