This certainly isn't anything expensive or fancy, but it's basically what you'd expect when it comes to a telescope for kids/teens.I like that it has the backpack for easy carrying, with velcro straps that hold the pieces in place. It would be nice if the lens caps were connected so that they're not easy to lose. It's an okay telescope, but it's still a cheaper, lower-end one.

I purchased this telescope to be used as a finder scope for a much larger telescope. I was pleasantly surprised that it yields exceptionally sharp images. Many telescope sat its low price come with .965 inch diagonals and eyepieces. This scope uses the 1.25 inch accessories. 1.25 inch accessories offer wider fields of view. While the tripod is undersized for astronomical use, this scope will give you nice images of the moon, star clusters, and Jupiter if you can mount it on a more stable platform.

I really wanted a telescope, since we purchased our house, to view the stars, so I decided to get this one dur to its fantastic price range. I really like that it has everything you need. Different lenses, a carrying case, a stand..it has it all! I just really wish that the quality was a little better, in both the build as well as the images that come through. To me, it always comes through more blurry than I'd like. Even images that others post are still not quite what I was hoping for. I would say this is great for when the nephews come over for game nights, however as they are getting older, this quality becomes a little less impressive. This is still better than having no telescope though, and a fantastic introduction into telescopes, different lenses, and how to care for them!

We got this for our neices to use and learn about astronomy. They have had a lot of fun using it. It's fun teaching them how a telescope works.I wouldnt recommend this for any serious use, but a great learning tool.Like that it has a backpack to store it in and carry to the park.It can be used to teach general use of a telescope and how they work. It's has additional to change the magnification. In reality it's about as strong as really good binoculars, but that's good enough for kids.

This is an excellent little telescope that performs exceptionally well despite its affordable price and somewhat diminutive size. It includes 2 different lenses and it's got a nifty, if somewhat simple, little backpack included that the telescope can fit into when disassembled. The lenses come with little containers for them to stay in so they don't get scratched when not in use, and all of the in-telescope lenses have caps for you to put on them so they don't get scratched up or dirty either.I will say, the instructions on how to focus the telescope are a bit lacking. If you don't already have at least some understanding on how to adjust a telescope, you might have issues with this; but honestly you can look up a video that shows you exactly how to adjust a telescope to look at almost any specific planet or body in the sky. And once you learn how it works, you'll know for future uses. The telescope is light and easy to maneuver despite its approximately forearm-length size. With all the pieces of the telescope fully assembled, it still isn't heavy, and the adjustable tripod easily holds it steady at almost any angle. It also has a little mini-scope that slides on the top to help you aim the telescope with a much wider field of view so you can aim more accurately. The little backpack that comes with the telescope is perhaps a bit simple - as in it might not be super comfortable to wear for long times and it only has minimal padding - but it works for the purpose and you shouldn't have any issues carrying this telescope around with you wherever you'd like to go. Just make sure if you give it to a little one that they know not to toss it around too much! The telescope is made almost fully of plastic, though obviously with glass lenses and some mirrors in it. The plastic is high-quality though and it doesn't feel like it's liable to breaking, so it works well for this telescope and it makes it lightweight and easy to aim.Overall, this is an excellent little telescope that can see very far away planets, very clearly, as long as you have a basic understanding of how to use a telescope. I recommend this and I'll keep using it when I have the chance, and I'll update this review if I have any issues with it down the line.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.
