I recently purchased this portable telescope, and I have to say, it has been an absolute joy to use. One of the first things that stood out to me was its portability—everything fits neatly inside a convenient carry case, making it easy to take on trips or store away when not in use. Whether I’m setting it up in the backyard or taking it to a darker sky location, the compact design makes transportation a breeze. One of the accessories that made my stargazing experience even more enjoyable was the included 3x Barlow lens. This was a great addition that helped magnify celestial objects, giving me a closer look at planets and deep-space objects. It was exciting to experiment with the different magnification options and see just how much detail I could pull in.Another feature I absolutely loved was the Celestron SkyPortal app. Connecting the telescope to the app made it incredibly easy to locate planets, nebulae, and other celestial objects. Rather than manually scanning the night sky and hoping to stumble upon something interesting, the app guided me straight to some breathtaking sights. This made my observing sessions much more efficient and enjoyable, especially as a beginner in astronomy.Speaking of observations, I was amazed by what this telescope was able to reveal. I was able to see the moons of Jupiter clearly, which was a surreal experience. Additionally, I got a great view of the Orion Nebula, where I could make out some impressive details. For a portable telescope, the clarity and sharpness exceeded my expectations.Beyond stargazing, I also had fun using the telescope for birdwatching. Looking at ducks and different bird species through the telescope was an unexpected but enjoyable bonus. It added an extra layer of versatility to the device, making it useful for both astronomy and nature observation.Overall, this telescope has been a fantastic investment. It’s compact, easy to use, and delivers excellent views of both celestial and terrestrial objects. Whether you’re a beginner looking for a first telescope or someone who wants a portable option for stargazing on the go, this one is definitely worth considering.

This telescope exceeded my expectations, offering both high-quality performance and user-friendly features. It arrived securely packed in double carton boxes, ensuring everything was in perfect condition. A pleasant surprise was the inclusion of a durable carry case, which is excellent for both storage and portability—ideal for those who enjoy taking their telescope to different locations for stargazing. The setup was easy. The detailed instructions in the manual made the assembly process smooth, and I was ready to use the telescope in about 15 minutes. As a beginner, I appreciated how intuitive the process was. I even used telescope during the day to observe birds, and the clarity and detail were impressive, highlighting its versatility for both terrestrial and celestial observations. The 90mm lens produce exceptionally crisp and bright images, even in areas with some light pollution in my city. Aiming it at Jupiter during my first night of use, I was able to see the planet with clarity. The mount is smooth and easy to use, allowing for precise adjustments when tracking celestial objects.I also appreciated the included phone adapter, which made capturing and sharing my views simple and fun. However, I did notice that the adapter works best with lighter phones like standard-sized iPhones. While it does hold larger models like the iPhone Max, the grip isn’t as secure, so I would recommend using smaller or lighter devices for stability. The carry case is another feature that stands out. It’s sturdy, well-padded, and has ample compartments to keep all components neatly organized. For anyone planning to take their telescope on the go, this case adds significant value.Pros: Image quality: The 90mm aperture and multi-coated optics provide sharp, bright visuals for both daytime and nighttime use. Dual-purpose design: Suitable for stargazing and terrestrial observations, making it versatile for different interests. Fast setup: Assembly takes just 15 minutes, even for beginners, thanks to the clear instructions. Portability: The durable carry case is well-designed for storage and transport. Photography - friendly: Includes a phone adapter for capturing and sharing views.Cons: Phone adapter limitations: Works best with lighter phones; heavier, big screen devices like the iPhone Max may not feel as secure in the adapter.Overall, this telescope is an excellent choice for beginners and intermediate users alike. Its combination of sharp optics, ease of use, and practical accessories like the phone adapter and carry case make it a fantastic investment for exploring the wonders of the night sky.
