This case has many useful features of which I found quite attractive... and although I don't have the proper-sized telescope - I thought I could make it work for me. The case is a padded softsider that is not quite rigid enough if the contents are not sized accordingly. For an expensive telescope - I'd be looking at hardsider cases... but that's me. That is no fault of the case - so no stars deducted. The tailoring and construction materials are good and the price point is excellent. Measure your setup and order accordingly. I think you'll be happy with it.

I thought I could transfer my relatively small telescope from its hard case into this soft case. This bag is HUGE. Strangely, in spite of the huge size of the case, I just couldn't fit my scope and tripod into it quite right. It may be useful for carrying other items, however, it is just huge on the outside. If you filled it with anything heavy, you won't be able to carry it. I had to give it away as it didn't serve my purpose.

I use the Astronomical Telescope Case from the SLINRKE Store to carry my telescope, cameras, and gear on astrophotography shoots, and it’s been excellent. It’s lightweight but sturdy, making it easy to transport without sacrificing protection. The well-padded interior and multiple compartments keep everything organized and secure. At around $80, I find it to be a great value for money. The thoughtful design, with adjustable dividers and ample pockets, makes it perfect for stargazing trips. If you need a reliable and spacious carrying case for your telescope and accessories, I highly recommend this one.An STG Synergies BTN Enterprises Review!

Pros:Decent protection level for a soft case--not as good as a hard case but certainly respectable. Reasonable price at $88 (current price) considering the quality and functionality of the case. Highly modular design allows you to fit a wide range of telescopes and equipment in the bag while still keeping everything secured and snug. Large variety of straps, pockets, clips, and compartments allow significant customization. Overall build quality is good--seams are tight and well-stitched and materials seem to be of good quality in general (with minor exceptions as listed below).Cons:A few of the larger buckles were of lower-quality plastic and had some sharp edges. I jabbed my finger a couple of times on some very sharp edges while buckling/unbuckling the straps. This may be a widespread issue or it might be a one-off fluke. But either way it loses a star off the rating because you don't want a buckle that's going to cut you when you go to release it.

As a beginner with telescopes, I have a pretty basic Celestron and a couple others, and the Celestron is in the price range that it definitely didn't come with a case or anything like that. I am very happy with this case for it.The main interior spaces hold the components of the telescope very well, and maybe I wouldn't trust it with a $5000 telescope, but those come with their own cases and those cases are probably much sturdier. For a soft / padded case with a $100-200 telescope inside, this works great. There are many accessory pockets and pouches too. Those are very handy, and at least for a beginner, I find there's plenty of space for the extras that I have. The counterweight bag is a nice included feature, although I do still worry -- being new to telescopes, this was one thing I wasn't really aware of beforehand. I do still worry about the heft of that being in with more delicate items, but as it is, the little bag seems to stay put even with my counterweight in it.Straps and handles seem strong enough, I don't have any worries about the weight on them.I will note the price has gone up a bit since I got this case, it's not a deal-breaker, but I think there's much better value around $50-60 for this item than the current price, which is now a bit higher.

PRODUCT/THOUGHTS:This is an X-large, padded carrying case to hold a large telescope and has multiple pockets inside and out for your additional gear. The bottom has 6 sets of plastic feet sewn to it. The material is made of thick, heavy-duty nylon.Shoulder straps are included which make it easy to transport your telescope into the car and to your location (desert, mountains, camping, etc) to view the stars. The outside top has Bungie-like straps to hold additional items, such as a blanket/jacket. When opened, one side has three sets of compartments within the plastic. The inside includes a small counterweight bag, another shoulder strap, and dividers (small and large). These attach with velcro and can be placed inside how you need them. Overall, this is a really well-made carrying case for your telescope for storage and travel. This would also make a great photographer's bag to carry your tripod, lighting equipment, etc.
