I bought the 30 inch bag to carry my tripod and spotting scope when I go to the range. Bag is padded enough to protect the scope. Plus there is enough extra room in the bag and outside pockets to carry a lot of extra stuff. Works perfectly for me.

This is great for my son’s tripod and telescope accessories. I will say we have the tube in its own separate heavily padded bag.

Benutze die Tasche für einen TS-Optics Photoline 102/714 Refraktor nebst diversem Zubehör. Gut gepolstert, wasserabweisend und diverse Verzurrmöglichkeiten im Inneren. Perfekt für mich.

I was looking for a bag that was big enough for a full sized tripod with a gimbal attached. This bag is perfect with plenty of room to spare. Well padded. The pockets are great plus.

I recently acquired a Daystar 60mm solar telescope and a SkyWatcher SolarQuest tripod/mount. I was looking for a bag or case that could contain everything and the Rhino W30 Pro seemed like it might work for the tripod and the mount. I already have a hard case for the telescope and the eyepieces. The bag is bigger than I had envisioned, so much so it could easily have accommodated my entire rig if I used some other method to protect the telescope and eyepieces from shock. It also appears to be extremely well made with robust material and zippers that seem like they will last for many years of service. Since I've only had it a short time, I can't speak definitively regarding its durability, however, the impression that I got from the heft and apparent build quality is that it is built to last. It also has more padding that I expected. It seems like the perfect bag for my needs. I'm looking at getting a small portable grab 'n go telescope for travel or times that I want less schlepping and setup than my 10" Dobsonian requires. I'm currently leaning towards the Sky-Watcher Skymax 127 AZ-GTi - which has the exact same tripod and mount housing - and I think that the Rhino W30 Pro would fit the entire rig. Based on my experience with the brand so far, I would happily buy another Rhino product.

This is a sturdy, well made bag. I use it for a 90mm f5.5 refracting telescope and a Sky Watcher AZ Gti alt-azimuth mount. It has just the right length (30 in.) and is much roomier in girth than needed. I love that the bag has a reinforced bottom for setting on rough and moist surfaces. The enclosed three padded bags are a helpful inclusion. I have three suggestions for the manufacturer for the next edition of the bag:1) The internal pad separating the telescope from the tripod should be taller - it is just barely tall enough to separate the telescope and the tripod. Additional padding in the separator would help too.2) Leave out the cell phone holder - I don't need one and I'd rather see either a lower price of an even better bag than get something I don't need.3) Provide a case or insert that will hold a number of eyepieces - especially today's giant 2" eyepieces. No generic bag will be perfect and this comes as close as I could reasonably expect to meeting my specific needs. It holds everything I need for a perfect grab and go set-up and I expect to get a lot of enjoyment in using it.

Well, they said that a Celestron SE models would fit in this, and I only have the 5 inch, and it’s super tight in there. As you can see from the photos, there is very little room between the fork and the tube, and virtually none between the tube and the tripod. I figure this is going to be good enough for storing here in the house, but I would never travel seriously with this arrangement. The thin little piece of padding that they have around the tube is in a good place, but I feel it should be thicker, and somewhat taller. Some padding between the fork and the tripod seems called for too. They did include straps for tying the equipment down inside the bag, and that’s good, but the way they’re configured them makes it pretty hard to get them all fastened up.I thought I would be using the external pockets to handle most of the accessories, but it is so tight in the bag there really isn’t much width left for those pockets. The included, freestanding pockets, however seemed to work nicely to hold all that gear, and fit on top of the fork. The main zipper and the exterior fabric all seems sufficiently beefy. If this bag had been a couple of inches longer and one or 2 inches wider, with lots of padding on the inside, it would’ve been near perfect. As it is, it’s just OK.

I bought this for my StarSense Explorer DX 130AZ which is wider reflector scope. The scope fits nicely and plenty of space but the tripod was too long. The bag is well made for sure. Now I'm torn between returning this and trying the 40inch but narrower bag or just getting a second less serious bag for the tripod.

I wasn’t sure if this was going to fit my Celestron Nexstar 130SLT but it’s roomier than I thought. Everything fits, including the tripod and accessories. The tie downs are great and the extra pouches come in handy for optical pieces. There’s a cushioned divider as well that you can move around as needed.Overall I give it 5 stars. Sturdiness I give a 4 only because I haven’t traveled with it yet but I’m so far pleased with the quality of the fabric and zipper. Side pockets are tight but they at least hold my batteries. It would make a nice gift provided the specifications meet the person’s needs. I would have loved this as a gift! I really took a shot in the dark buying this because Celestron doesn’t make a case specifically for this scope and with any hard case, I’d have to cut the foam myself, not ideal. Great value for money.

Very sturdy bag that makes me feel comfortable carrying my telescope around. I use it for the Meade Infinity 90mm and it sits very nicely inside. The previous bag I used is a Meade bag, but it was way too long for my 5-foot frame to carry without having to constantly catch my balance. I also used towels to add padding to it. This bag is the perfect size for me and I appreciate the padding. The tripod won't fit inside without one of its ends slightly jutting out, but I prefer to carry the telescope and tripod separately, anyway. That leaves plenty of space for accessories.
