This fits my astromania 70 mm guide scope just fine. Images are clear and bright white.

This fit over my Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 and fits (barely, mostly on the filter) of my Nikon P1000.I chose this one because I prefer the white light rather than the dull orange of most solar film, and for that it is great. As others have said, if you look through it at the sun and don't see anything, there's a chance it came with an extra layer of film. Here's how I took it out, do this at your own risk. If you cut through both layers, the film could be rendered useless.1. Get an Xacto blade.2. Place the filter face down on a towel or something that won't scratch.3. CAREFULLY poke through the inner film along the edge of the metal. You have about 1-2mm between layers.4. Slowly and meticulously, with a steady and patient hand, cut along the metal circle until the inner layer is out.Again, do this at your own risk! It worked for me though.

The product is otherwise perfect. Good condition, no light leaks, all parts present.Unfortunately, it's too small to fit over the aperture of my 90mm refractor telescope.Returning.

Fit my spotting scope perfectly. It was in constant use during the eclipse. The sunspots and corona (without the filter) were the highlight. My scope has a cell phone adapter and numerous photo were taken through the filter

It is exactly the same size as my telescope, which has a 70mm aperture. It's supposed to fit a 70mm aperture but it doesn't.

Perfect for my 72mm Astrotech refractor, which has an external tube (dew shield) diameter of 3.5", 89 mm. With 2 layers of small pieces of soft Velcro stuck inside the rim, I got a nice snug fit and could discard the screws (which are a bit overlong and awkward in use), covering the screw-holes with electrical tape.I started looking at sunspots today and could easily see all the main ones found on the spaceweather sunspot site, and their sub-spots. The image is just the right brightness and pure white (as it should be), and very sharp, so this filter is not producing any aberrations at all. Excellent price for this performance.

Worked perfectly. Adjust to my 70mm telescope with no issues. The quality is really good. Just wish it came with a case.

I bought the filter to fit over my 76mm Celestron FirstScope. Unfortunately the optical tube is JUST larger than 92mm, so I was unable to fit it over my telescope. Barring something silly and potentially dangerous like using duct tape, I'm out of luck. My 50mm monocular's outer diameter is too small, the firstScope is too large. I had intended to get this as a preview to see if I should get a larger one for my 6in dob, and I very well might. I tested it visually just holding the filter cap up to the sun with my unaided eye, and it did in fact look like a white orb on a black sky, as if I were looking at the Moon. The filter cap might fit the Orion FunScope, as it is the same optics as the FirstScope but the tube is slightly smaller. Lesson learnt--actually go and measure the optical tube before you buy.
