I got this to replace the original pick up for my new Sterling sub series Ray 4 .The original one was too harsh for me. The Artec seems much smoother with flat wounds.

It's hard to find a reasonably priced MM4 pickup set (neck & bridge), but here they are! I put them in a bass I built with active preamp & 3ch eq.They sound great! I expect I will buy more.
