The set up was easy. The hard part was having Xfinity activate it so the Wi-Fi would work. It was worth it.

After a bad experience with Motorola, (would not connect, even after 45 minutes with Xfinity on the line, and no customer support from Motorola ) I looked up reviews for this , and ordered. Arrived quickly and in great condition,. No instructions, but with the app and the router address, go it up and running with no problems; changed the default name and password to my old routers and bingo, connected all my devices with no issues at all. It has two ethernet ports, but no on/off switch, although I don't really need that. I didn't rate tech support, because I didn't need to use it! It's perfect for moderate (

Bought this knowing it was preowned. I was reluctant but the price was great. I should’ve listened to the reviews. My ISP, Xfinity, tried for an hour to connect to the modem but they were unable. If the internet provider can’t recognize the modem, it’s basically junk at that point. So, I called Amazon Help line and they were of no help themselves BUT did direct me to contact the seller via the messaging system to alert them I was having trouble with the unit. The seller got back to me VERY QUICKLY and without argument they refunded me without even me asking. I was bracing myself for a fight but was PLEASANTLY surprised. I’m so used to horrible customer service nowadays so this was refreshing. I just wish the modem had worked - it was such a great bargain.
