Works great but It's difficult to put together. The handle on the lid needs to be bigger. Too easy to get a steam burn when lifting the lid.

Steaming vegetables is so much easier, quicker and better than blanching. Also great for steaming dumplings.

Cooks great but after less than 6 uses the heating elemnt is corroded. Noticed a plastic smell when using. Concern with electical fire and toxic vapors getting into the food. No longer using the steamer. Noticed too late for Amazon Return. Trying to get help from Aroma but no luck so far.Revised Rating to 5 after receiving support:Heard from Aroma on 1/2/2025. Problem was due to mineral deposits from hard water and not corrosion. There are instruction in the manual to use 2 parts water and 1 part vinegar. Which worked to remove the deposits. Please read all the instructions before attempting to clean the heating element.

Super easy to use and assemble. I made fish for my first cooking and it came out great. Easy to clean as well and disassemble. Compact enough to store in small spaces. Very light weight and easy to move around the house.
