The product itself is pretty good and it was fairly easy to install. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that the blots at the bottom took a fair amount of time to install making it a pain if I want to take them off. Otherwise they seem to work great and have no complaints.

Heavy-Duty at just under15 pounds per set.One thing you’re going to have to figure out though is the steel plate with 6 holes actually slips inside of the rubber sleeve. Not in your owners manual instructions. There is one other thing too with the wing nut stud, washer and nut. I used the washer and nut to secure the stud on the steel plate.Once you figure it all out you’ll be extremely happy with them I believe.Ratchet straps are a huge plus too !

This is a great contraption and I wish we had gotten it sooner. We use our kayak often and before we couldn't tie anything else down on the top of our vehicle. Now, we are able to use this for the kayak and tie down our other bags next to it. It was easy to install and easy to use.

These are almost made the same way as another name brand with minor differences. The tubing, buckles and padding seems as heavy duty (thick/solid) and durable as the other brand too. Assembling these should be easy and so should the mounting to the vehicle from what I can tell. Attaching your kayak or boards to these should be easy as well. These have not been used or tested yet. With the other name brand there has been a few known instances where they failed going down the highway with kayaks flying off the roof (seems like they were catching to much wind at highway speeds?) so until these are used and abused it is hard to say now exactly how durable these are but again comparing with that other top name brand these seem as well made as those so they ought due the trick. Time will tell. Lastly I like how they fold down into a compact bundle which is easily stored.

This rack seems strong enough to hold my kayaks on my SUV.

Easy to put together. Ready to load kayaks on and off. Only down side it doesn’t come with straps.

No matter how much I tightened the bolts the unit still wobbled on the top of my Hyundai Santa Fe.Tried to return them. They wanted me to send a video. Amazon won’t upload a video more than 10kb. So yah, no return availableInstallation was a pain!To bad I can’t rate them less than 1 star
