I am a commercial lawn care business owner and we keep these on our mowers to pick up trash while mowing. I bought cheap ones at Rural King for years. They broke or fell apart within a few weeks or a month. I purchased these in the spring and have used the same ones all year. A couple have got ran over by a mower or lost but I am still on my original ones 6 months in and they have held up great. I will buy these from now on. Plus if a limb or something knocks one off a mower the orange color is easy to see and find.

I bought it because of a medical back procedure after which I was supposed to limit bending. It’s long enough that I can pick dropped items up from the floor with minimal bending. I can also pick up items as small as a piece of lint and as large as a dog toy. It grips and retrieves well. I’m quite happy with this purchase.

Handle is comfortable to use for a few hours and it’s been durable. I am a litter clean up volunteer in my city for a beautification nonprofit. I officially have one block, but do a couple. Plus my block has an interstate off ramp. Sadly, the litterbugs are horrible in my state. After breaking the suction cups or handles on 2 grabbers provided by the nonprofit, I decided to buy and try some new ones. One had a weird handle and was heavy, so I gave it away. This one has held up great through pounds and pounds of litter. Picks up heavy items like wet clothes and bottles as well as cigarette butts and other tiny trash. The lanyard didn’t last long, but the rest of it sure has.

Wrote a review on their 28" that hits the mark. I forgot to say on that one that these do pick up almost every little thing possible. I have picked up pills that I have dropped, clothes, towels, shoes, envelopes, paper, and even dust bunnies and coins! Best possible thing available. Bought one with the straight edge and curved bottom and it is nearly worthless. Picks up clothes and towels off the floor in the bathroom, but that is about all. This one is great because it is so long it will get to the top cupboard. When you get used to using it, you will get better at figuring out how to get to things. Such a perfect solution to being incapacitated or short!
