The back face of the mailbox extends below the level of the bottom, so needs trimmed to sit flat on the post, but is otherwise is very good.

this mailbox is well made, sturdy. attractive. i like the magnetic door on the mailbox. i got a large size and it is big enough for mail, large envelopes, packages. very roomy. very happy with this mailbox.

Lots of cheaper options but this one is well-made, heavy steel, quick installation, and looks great. Perfect size as well. Holds plenty of mail and small packages. Far exceeds our original builder-grade mailbox. Nice design and finish that meets our HOA specifications.

I bought this and the Architectural Mailboxes DPKX00AM Deluxe Drive-in Post, Aromatic Cedar as it was recommended together. I'm not sure why. I struggled with assembly and ended up having to make things up as I went in order to get it to work together.The mailbox itself is great. It closes easily and stays shut without having to force it. It looks as if it can take a good beating and still maintain it's look. Nice, quality material that feels like you paid a lot of money for it. I would just buy another post other than the one that's recommended.
