Slight variations in the wood grain also give the post a one-of-a-kind appearance. This drive-in post comes with a steel anchor, which eliminates the need for digging or installing the post in concrete. Pre-notched for easy assembly, the post is intended for use with medium-sized and large mailboxes.

It’s fine and smells good but I’m pretty disappointed that it’s pink.

Looks great and so easy to install. No concrete or other difficult post methods. Install during height of summer when ground was hard. Looks great. Will see if it holds up during the rainy weather and stays stable.

Hardest part was getting the old one out. This was easy to install, and inexpensive. I don't expect it to last more than a couple of years. Biggest problem is postal clerk closing the lid too hard and snow plows pushing snow up against the post and wallering out hole. A small angle-iron is not very secure. This is a quick & cheap solution. It is NOT a long term solution.

I was pleasantly surprised. Driving stake into the ground was much easier than digging a hole. Might not work as well in very rocky ground. Mounting post to stake was easy. Final assembly was easy as well.

Great product. Only complaint it wasn’t sanded.

This is very straight forward. First turn over and pound iron bar into cedar wood in the predrilled hole. Next unless you like a wobbly mailbox i suggest using concrete mix in hole the just wait till next day and apply mailbox. Mine arrived with the mailbox mounting board broken into two pieces. I tried to glue back but was warped so i had to source another piece of wood. I also sealed the cedar before installing so keep its great look. Very pleased with results. I always have scrap wood so fact piece arrived broken was not big deal BUT TO YOU IT MIGHT BE. Be warned.
