I don't know why I lose 4 to 5 gallons of water per day!!I contacted the company and explained that I have 24" Aquascape stacked slate urn along with your 400 gph water pump and I installed everything exactly as explained in the video but they say it is just 14 gallon capacity!!I was trying to tell them I am losing water (and not just a gallon or two a week but 4 gallons a day at least) yet they just repeat their own word that this is just 14 gallons and you need to add a automatic refiller!!!instead of giving an advice that what I am missing they are trying to sell something that has nothing to do with the problem!I don't recommend this Aquascape products to anybody since there is no support at all.

Replaced a 55 gal glass aquarium and has been working fine. Skirt to keep flow returning to reservoir works great.

You get what you pay for with this basin.Hard sturdy plastic that seals well. Hassle free. I've seen so many Pintrest that use buckets, cut out bins etc. Trust me. Do it right and get this unit. You'll save yourself so much grief.

This is an excellent fountain basin. Its a nice size and was easy to install. It blends in well with the river rocks and doesn't require topping up with water all that often even though I decided not to install the collection tarp that came with it. If you're fountain is made of stone and very heavy you might probably want to consider a basin with extra supports. My fountain is made of resin so its fairly light. Very happy with this item.

I did like the cost of this item and that it is a good size basin for a variety of fountains. My main problem with this product is that the tarp material that goes around the basin seeps water. I noticed that it seems to be made of a tarp like material and it leaks. I noticed that I was having to add water quite frequently so I unhooked everything and pulled up the rocks on top of the tarp and looked underneath and the underside was soaked. I bought flex seal and sprayed on top hoping it would help and it did help me make it to only filling up every 3 days or so but this spring I got everything running again but noticed that I was adding water every day to day and a half so I pulled everything up yet again and sprayed with another coat of flex seal. This has lasted about a month but the last couple days I have noticed I am having to add water again too soon. I will at some point buy a pond liner to replace this crappy liner with but it is a LOT of work redoing this.

Overall, I'm very satisfied with this. Good size, seems like sturdy plastic that will hold up well, and perfect for what I needed. The only thing I wish was a bit better was the rigidity of the lid. It says it can hold up to 50 lbs., and I guess it could. But I decided to put some steel supports across the top of the reservoir, resting on the edges, and my pot is sitting on those instead. My pot, filled with water, would definitely be over 50 lbs. so I would have needed to do this regardless, but the lid still could be better designed I think. That aside, this was a good purchase! Definitely recommend for small projects like this. Forgot to take pictures of installation process but final result is pictured...

Good quality and great price. Descent size for my garden fountain. Cover is sturdy, and I like that it had a hole in it just for the pump cord to go through. Comes with a metal ring that latches the top to the bottom. I didn’t use that, because I’m experimenting with my pump, and need to gain access to it easily. It gives the cover more strength. The hole in the center is quite large (about 3-4” in diameter). I use small rocks on top, so I used a piece of half inch hardware cloth around the pump tube, and it covers the whole cover too, again for added support to the cover.

Nice sturdy basin, holds about 10 to 12 gallons of water according to my hose water meter. It came with a rather nice magnetic pump with a control valve and a three way diverter. Basin appears to be of a finished sort of pvc or plastic, unlike the preformed pond basins which are a little rougher in texture. Has worked well for a few months now and no complaints!
