I have used many siphons. I bought this ball to make it easier to gravel vac my fish tanks. When the water reaches the ball it just doesn’t flow thru the ball. And yes I positioned the “in” and “out” nozzles the correct way. Water just trickles thru the hose, which does me no good. Really wanted it to work…

I can’t believe we’ve had fish tanks for so many years and never purchased one of these before. As soon as it came, I immediately ordered a second one for our other aquarium. It’s super easy to get started with just a squeeze.
